Scrolling can get a little annoying with the middle mouse button, as I prefer to hold it down, instead of just click to toggle it on and off. So changing it so it exits the scroll mode when the mouse is released after being held down for more than half a second would be nice.
This is also a problem when I scroll down to the bottom of the page, holding the middle button down, then try scrolling up a bit with the wheel.
Also scrolling diagonally with the middle button is jerky. And what about smooth scrolling for the wheel?
