Improvement requests :
K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
As the K-meleon is a browser that is very suitable for use on older computers that besides slow proc., do not have a lot of RAM, it would be very beneficial if it had a "do not load images from this website" feature as Mozilla does.
This would prevent downloading unnecessary images (many, particularly old computers have only a dial-up access) and filling the RAM with them. It would make the browsing experience on such computers much faster. And it would not make K-meleon almost no more complex or "heavy".
there are macros for that built in & in wiki for You to build in.
built in out of the box? ->>>
- e.g. wechselbalg0.8.2+ has it
(You can use the menus, macros and acceel.cfg from that with official if 0.8.2+ uses too much ram for You)
Sebastians new private based on wechselbalg uses the macro and Maunels menus..
just look under development e. g. :http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?f=2&i=3342&t=3342
the new official also has the functionality You want.
