Two cosmetic/efficiency changes

Ever since I started using K-Meleon, there have been exactly two features I have wanted (well, three, but the third was added to the .9beta build). These features are in IE, and, as far as I'm concerned, are the one advantage IE has over K-Meleon. While small, I think these minor changes add a great deal to the look of the browser, and in many ways make using the browser faster.

1. Faveicon support. I would absolutely love if, instead of the URL bar just having the URL, it had an icon to the left (like in IE) which was the default html file icon usually (or a k-meleon icon) but the faveicon specified by the page. Firefox supports this, and, partially as a result, a lot more sites use it now. It would be EXTRA awesome if this icon could be dragged to your bookmarks/hotlist/favorites and then placed directly into a folder without having to edit your bookmarks (bookmark management is a total drag in k-meleon).

2. Autocompletion. I dunno, I just like it.

With a new version coming soon, I would be really excited to see these features added. I feel like, if they aren't added in .9, I won't see them in K-meleon for years. winking smiley

Thanks. You guys are doing a great job.

These 2 features won't be added for v0.9. Besides new macro features & the privacy plugin, v0.9 is primarily an update to the 1.7 branch of Mozilla. Not many core changes which I think both of these additions would require. Perhaps one day.

#2 is bug 203. I can't find #1 in the bug tracker; perhaps someone should file an RFE for it.
