i really think all browsers that support "tabbed browsing" should support replacing new windows with tabs
That option exists in most alternative browsers, including KM w/layers.
sorry i mean open tabs instead of windows automatically, like when a website opens a link in a new window, this feature is not available in many browsers
If you choose Layers only in K-Meleon, it opens all in layers (tabs if you prefer)
how do i set "layers only"???
If you're using v0.9b then go to Tools-Browsing Options
If you're using v0.8.2 you'll have to copy & paste some prefs found here
where did you get v0.9b, its not in the sourceforge project page???
The project page doesn't usually announce betas for testing AFAIK. Betas are announced on the developers list and in the forums in the General section and the Development section. They are primarily for testing and for users to report bugs so that the final release can be very stable.
