Well i'm a new user to K-Meleon, i start noticing this browser when i surf through sf.net (SourceForge). I'm really satisfied with it's stability & speed. The version i'm using is
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.4) Gecko/20041010 K-Meleon/0.9b
however i found i'm stuck with some problem, when i surf inside forum, usually the image posted is in somekind of attachment.php, thus it makes me can't save the picture except click on it....this is quite annoying problem..i dunno if others users posted this problem before or there's a macros to solve this o.0 hope to get answer soon ^^"
another problem is about Firefox's extension -> adblock ^^" i'd really love to see K-Meleon have this features other than that, i think K-Meleon should gets at least 95/100 ^^"

to get answer soon best use General forum section.
0.9b is a test release not all works yet,
You found right click while mouse = over image?
addblock is like all FF extensions unavailable for 0.9b version.
k-m users that want add blocking do it by some toggle buttons
and via userContent.css.
You will find links to it e. g. via forum search.

well, thanks for answering @@" (at least reply ;P)
in forum, whenever user post out image it's usually in attachment.php form, then it'll request the image from server. so when you want to download, i'll get attachment.php instead of the image...

thanks for quick reply,
i thought 0.9b is the latest o.0"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i've tested with Opera, IE, Firefox, they works flawless.....they can specificly save image but with K-Meleon i only can save attachment.php instead of 507.jpg
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
errm about think link....it could be a little bit harder..the websites is in chinese & only member can login....='( but i do think there's another php based forum, when they submit image/file, it's always inside attachment.php form.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
here's another example, some kind of download manager when i download some file attach on forum i alwayz get attachment.php instead of blablabla.zip but some download manager support able to download blablabla.zip instead of attachment.php
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hope it helps

ok, now i found a way to solve this...but it quite weird to do so...
when i click save image as, save as pop up
i rename attachment.php to 123.jpg &
save as type ---> change to all files (*.*)
then i manage to solve the problem.....o.0"

keith - You are right - would be hard for me!
save as *.php?
- did You ever go with "irfan view" through folder that has pictures with wrong extension? he offers rename the extension. maybe that would be more comfortable?

quote " save as *.php?"
K-Meleon automatically offer to save as .php but if you change to save as all files(*.*) & rename the attachment.php to 123.jpg it'll be fine ^^

ok, here's another bug in browser [Almost every kind except Opera] o.0
i think this problems is quite annoying also, the problems is [Image Broken].
Maybe due to Opera having its own rendering engine, so i'm having very very small % of having Broken Image. But with IE / Gecko Based browser I encounter the same problem also. IE have an option call Show Image, FF also have an extension that similar too. But this can't help. Try to think the end users feeling when they have to refresh the page / right click -> Show Image when the image is broken, it's really annoying...hope you can think of a solution for this.

when researching about something i found this: maybe it is related to Your problem: Sometimes images aren't displayed on their prospective pages, and when I right click on the image and go to "display image" it gives me a message with the following error message.
- The image "[image name]" cannot be displayed because it contains errors. What can I do?
This is a known bug that is being worked on. The image itself is fine, i.e. it contains no errors.
The reason for this behavior appears to be the fact that Mozilla - depending on your Cache settings - requests the image twice. It only appears on websites that do not allow images to be linked to/called directly from outside of their pages. Since Mozilla does not send the referrer (i.e. web address of the page where the file is linked from) the second time it requests the image, the website sends an "access denied" page in HTML form where Mozilla is expecting an image, hence the error messsage (Mozilla tries to display an image when it receives an HTML page, so for the browser, the "image" contains an error).
Solution: Change your cache settings to "Compare the page in the cache to the page on the network When the page is out of date". To do so, select "Edit" -> "Preferences" -> "Advanced" -> "Cache".
Alan Wells pointed out another solution: Deleting the disk cache. To do that, select "Edit" -> "Preferences" -> "Advanced" -> "Cache" and Press the " Clear Cache" button. Pages should display fine after that.

i guess the term of "Broken Image" you missunderstand again ><"
my meaning is the image does load, but somehow it stop to load.....
eg : the image suppose to load 100%, but somehow it stop responding when 55% resulted another 45% didn't load
i found this problem in IE / Gecko based browser, however hard to reproduce this bug in Opera...i dunno why....& i can't figure out reason too...

sorry English is simply not my mother language.
resulted in browser it only shows half of the image
if this does not react to reload button it is definately a bug.
i only have seen this when i intentionally stopped loading
picures an later returned to them.
