command line options

It seems that FireFox 1.0 does not support the traditional
Netscape command line options, at least on Windows.
I particularly need -remote -noraise
Will K-Meleon support these?

Thanks.

Alan,

We do support some of the command line options but not all of them. Please outline which ones you want to see specifically (and what need they will meet).

The most important for me are:
--help
--remote (or -remote if necessary)
--noraise (or -noraise if necessary)

The first I assume is obvious,
but it too is missing from FireFox 1.0!

The others are to allow opening pages in an existing
K-Meleon instance without having it assume focus.
See the discussion at
http://wp.netscape.com/newsref/std/x-remote.html

For example, when reading email, one generally wants
to open a series URLs in the background, without one's email
client losing focus. I use K-Meleon as the browser called
by my email client. Currently I must (I believe) set a global
preference for K-Meleon to deal with this.

Thanks,
Alan

PS (OT): I am curious why FireFox has dropped these:
not even --help works! Any clues?
