Add a close button to the "layers" ( or "tabs)

I would like to see a "close button" on the layers, so that you can close them easier.
Why do you people call it "layers" actually ? I'm used to call them "tabs", lol.

There is a close button:
view > Toolbars > Layer/Window Buttons

I think he means closeboxes on each tab/layer, not just one on the layers bar.

But we can just double click inside the layer field - that will close it & = easy.
IMHO the little cross is harder to target then the whole field.
We call them Layers because that is what they are (& what K-Meleon's programmers called them many years ago ). Layers are technically different but look like tabs
- but K-Meleon will have true tabs soon enough - then we will call them tabs
