There is a simple way to get a navy color background
with white text for all visited webpages for all
Gecko browsers.
Copy and paste the following at the end of your
profiles userContent.css which should be in your
profiles chrome folder. If there should be no existing
userContent.css , create a new one. Save it as
.css, not as .txt .
<STYLE TYPE="text/css" MEDIA=screen > \r
<!-- \r
html,html>head,html>body {
padding: 5px !important;
border-style: none !important;
margin: 0px !important;
}
html,html>head,html>head *,html>body,html>body * {
background-attachment: scroll !important;
background-image: none !important;
background: #370072 !important;
color: white !important;
border-color: gray !important;
}
html * li {
color: yellow !important;
}
html * blink {
text-decoration: none !important;
}
html * input,html * select,html * textarea {
background: #370072 !important;
color: white !important;
padding: 1px !important;
border-style: solid !important;
border-width: 1px !important;
margin: 1px !important;
}
html * input *,html * select *,html * textarea * {
background: #370072 !important;
color: white !important;
}
table{border: 1px #708090 outset !important;
}
a:link {color: lime !important;}
a:visited {color: fuchsia !important;}
a:hover { color: yellow !important; } /* user hovers */
a:active { color: lime !important; } /* active links */
--> \r
</STYLE> \r
</HEAD> \r
The colors can of course be adapted to your taste by replacing
them with e.g. black for #370072 to get a black background.
