pageflakes.com

about favourites... can i open whole folder at a time? eg. i click middle mouse button & the links from that folder open...

ps.
and can k-meleon recognize that a current layer is not in use (eg. about:blank) and open it?

ps2.
how about merging the searching text from a site with the adress-bar-searching?

I think 1.1.2 correct it

It must be possible with a macro, but I want samples to see exactly what is your request.

ad1.
that's possible - i'll upgrade

ad2.
in my bookmarks i have a nice folder with search engines - eg: wikipedia - nickname 'w' or dictionary - nickname 'e'... so when i type in adress: "w k-meleon", the adress changes to: "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K-meleon"; and that is super. Now when i select text on some site and right click ->Web search->... (and here i have only google) it would be great to have the search engines there... i'm not interested with this 1000 defined search engines that comes with k-meleon... i just want those that i defined... so there will be only one place when i add search engines and i can have them in the adress-bar search & on the selection web-searach

phew... that was hard winking smiley i hope you now understand what i had in mind

regards Miechu

@ad1
nope, still when i have 'about:blank' opened and clik a on a fav - it opens a new layer instead of using the 'about:blank' - it's nothing important, but on the other hand - it's 2 min job winking smiley

On right-click menu, I see all the search engines I have selected (the same as right-click on search buttons). I supposed what you want.

For me, it works (since 1.1) with Bookmarks, I haven't tried with Favorites I don't use. Is it with favorites that you have the problem?

The forum is often very slow (I don't know why), and when you post, if it's long, it's better to open a new layer to see if the post is here. Else, if you post again (the windows is as you haven't post, you will have the message that report you're a spammer).

Sorry, first I haven't understood what you was talking about with spam.

I have download your wmv file, but it's not readable for me (I'm too old :-).
I'll try to read it on a 19' instead of a 17' To-morrow perhaps

Well, I see what you said.

The reuse of about:blank works only if the layer has the focus. K-Meleon ought to find and use all about:blank if present, for each type of window opening (favorites, bookmarks, hotlist, shortcut)

Send a bug report.
