User macro descriptions in Macro Extensions

Is is possible or practical to provide a way to have (user defined) replaced by a description of the macro. Right now a line of code in the macro like $macroModules=$macroModules."Shortcut;"; enters the macro name for Macro Extensions, but the description is always (user defined). I think it would be useful to have a description of the macro's function.
