I dont't have the favicons in the bookmarks, in spite of good parameter (edition, preferences)

Could yo help me, please.

Favicons in bookmarks it's implemented in next version 1.5, not implemented in current 1.1.4 version, but you can tried a beta of next version 1.5 here.

You can download 1.5a2 beta version and copy from kplugins folder bookmarks plugin file (bookmarks.dll) to your current K-Meleon 1.1.4 version (overwrite it).

Yes, but remember next; (both in K-Meleon folder)

1) In beta versions and 7z files you need include libraries msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll from your official 1.1.4 version or download it from http://www.dll-files.com/

2) In beta versions it's recomended created a new profile, to do this create a file named profile.ini, more info about this.

1.1.4 profile isn't compatible with 1.5 profile.

Download 1.5a2 version, this is a .7z file, 7zip file, unzip bookmarks.dll or all files, and copy bookmarks.dll overwriting your bookmarks.dll in your 1.1.4 /kplugins folder.

PS Why this installation file is not an .exe as usual ?

7z files have a better compression rate than
ordinary yip files.
You can download the free packer/unpacker from

http://www.7-zip.org

After installing 7-zip, use 7zFM.exe to get the
graphical program surface to open.
Go then in this file-manager to the downloaded
K-Meleon 7z file, highlight it and press the
"Extract" button.

Unfortunately K-meleon does'nt run with the new bookmarks.dll

I tried it and it failed.

It doesn't matter and I'll wait the official new 1.5 version.

From the messages in this forum, I deduce this is about being able to change the default favicons to icons the user prefers. If so, has this project been completed?

I do not see any context menu when I right click on my favorites. No option to sort by name, change properties, etc.

I really like the ability to change the favicons in the other browsers I use. How does one do so with K-meleon?

Will right click funtionality ever be available?
