actually policy manager gives you much more control over js than noscript..and you can disable js for all sites by selecting global policy(all internet) and disabling js in there.. see in the snapshot, sites that i trust have a separate zone where i have javascript enabled..you can have as many policy zones as you like

i have no idea how to import noscript prefs sad smiley i didn't use noscript much on kmeleon because compared to firefox, no-script is missing some features in kmeleon that's why i prefer policy manager which provides better script control and all features work for kmeleon

You can add UA strings to preferences:
Go tu about:config url or Edit -> Configuration -> Brwser Configuration

Filter by: kmeleon.privacy.useragent

You can see the two defaults UA strings; Firefox (with number 1) and SeaMonkey (with number 2)

Right click to create a New String preference.

You need create it in pairs of name and string.

Type preference name with next order number and value, for example;

String preference __________________ Value

kmeleon.privacy.useragent3.name ____ MyBrowser

kmeleon.privacy.useragent3.string ____ Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; ru-RU; rv:1.8.1.22) Gecko/20090624 SeaMonkey/1.1.17

Restart K-Meleon to changes take effect and now your UA string is showed like an option more in the menu.

I have some new problem with K-meleon. Today I fully reinstall system (windows) and install new mozilla 3.0.12, make html file with bookmarks and trying, as usual, "export" bokmarks to K-meleon puting it in the directory with profile - but K-Meleon crashes. So I take file from Flock 2.5. I think that in new mozilla thay use new string in the code of html file. I need find it and delete. I do so when export bookmarks from mozilla to IE6.

Just stumbling over this:

....hostperm file....

what it means:
cookie 1 = accept for session only
cookie 2 = accept always
cookie 3 = block cookie

image 1 = follow general settings (no enforced permission)
image 2 = load images
image 3 = block images

But that page says different?
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Hostperm.1
1=allowed / 2=forbidden / 3=no third party / 8=session only
