- Added: allow function declaration in macros, some main macros are now function, compat75 assure compatibility with older macros
- Added: macro function date(format[, time]). format: same as strftime, time: timestamp unix (nothing for current time)
- Added macro function download(url, path[, function]). Download file from "url" and save it in "path", then call the designated function.
- Added user authorization for macro using file functions
- Added: kmeleon.display.urlbar_fontsize, this is a multiplier, default is 1
- Fixed: various minor memory leaks
- Fixed: losing sessions when disk full

First impressions are all positive. Novice users might be unsure of the message that the code running will change their system, but you are quite correct to include that.

Try changing dom.ipc.plugins.enabled in about:config to false and restarting K-Meleon.

edit: K-meleon innoperable with error console open and trying to view videos on youtube; CPU 50%, RAM 200 Mg.

The value for the URLBAR font size does not have to be a whole number. The value is string and the following works.

pref("kmeleon.display.urlbar_fontsize", "1.2");

I first tried a "2" and the font size was too big for my size 16 skin.

I don't have an account at facebook, but I can get the login page without a crash. At what point do you get a crash at facebook? I did enable javascript for the test.

Edit:
My brother-in-law just came by and he has an account. He got logged in just fine. Of course we used English here.

This was using 75.1 beta Update 1 on Win 7 (32 bit).

but change setting menu still wrong, when click on some item, K-Meleon crashed immediately.

Another crash I've been having occurs when trying to load a folder of bookmarks that has a keyword assigned to it by typing that keyword into the address bar and pressing Enter.

Just crashing on connect to facebook. Typing address - Enter - 2 seconds and... away...

The file "userContent.css" is not reachable by using the menu item in EDIT > CONFIGURATION. The add-blocking stylesheet has the same problem.

The file "user.js" also has this problem.

we have already elaborated that chrome.favicons pref doesn't matter.
Also I have nothing in 'omnibox' as my KM crashes from the very first time. From first sites.

I have no idea what is difference, but I have experienced the same effects on 2 completely different PCs.

Maybe the crucial difference is OS language?

Also the reason could be the local proxy as I use filters working like traffic interceptors (K9Web Protection at XP and AdFender at Win7).

But KM does crash even when they are switched off or even unloaded...

Third PC - the same result without any proxy. Crashes on the same certain [js-rich] sites.

Two skin (Klassic) related questions:
1. The back and forward buttons are now always colored, I mean even with no visited site.


2. The UA button image is not that from the privbar. Has something changed?
Otherwise the button works fine.

There appears to be errors in cfg.kmm or perhaps in the warning system. I was trying to trace the 'user.js' request thru cfg and found these errors.


Every time I added or removed a logmsg() the warning was shown upon the first use. It is not shown on subsequence uses of cfg.kmm. That part is exactly right. There are no line numbers shown with the errors and I have not yet been able to find/fix them.

I couldn't even get to these forums without it crashing. Yahoo mail and AOL mail crashed too. Also my favicons disappeared.

Reinstalled 75 from http://kmeleonbrowser.org/download.php and no more problems.
