Doesn't run under WinXP with 'Error executing program (5)' (starting from Total Commander).
Windows Explorer says: 'Not a valid Win32 application'
Installing MS Visual C++ 2013 doesn't solve the prob.
Maybe broken archive? Or some problems with access rights (as Web suggests)

I have some issues with it:
1. There part that displays the webpage goes black for a second or so when opening new tabs, etc. every so often.
2. The Password Manager isn't working properly.
3. Ad Block Plus has stopped working since upgrading.

@Zero3k, yeah the black thing is weird, I have the same thing with firefox, not sure why they changed it.

Should but doesn't again. The same issue.
And about black thing - not just black but showing one of previously opened tabs for less a second.

Could this be connected somehow with the problem (this is the only issue with dependencies found by
FileInfo plugin for Total Commander)?

Fails to initialize on my Win7x64.
Re: K-Meleon 76 Alpha

I think we are finally faced with predicted incompatibility with CPUs which don't support SSE2.
But it's strange as I have FF 38 working here on my PC.

I've never thought it would be enabled by default now, but you're right. Have to rebuild everything.

K - meleon 75.1 works with win xp sp2
K - meleon 76 alpha gecko 38.2 does not work with win xp sp2, there is a problem of dynamic linking with kernel32
Firefox 38.2 works with win xp sp2, why k-meleon 76 alpha does not work?
I refuse to do the update with win xp sp3 because I still use software that work only on win xp sp2.

anon,
try to redownload the package again and also the dependentlibs.list given here in thread by Dorian.

Thanks Rodocop, but it is another problem here
K meleon 76 alpha works with win XP sp3, but no longer works with win XP sp2, at the launch of the program here is the error message
Entry point not found
"the procedure entry point GetLogicalProcessorInformation is not found in the dynamic link library Kernel32.dll"
Re: K-Meleon 76 Alpha
Date: September 21, 2015 01:50PM
anon,
have you tried to install
MS Visual C++ 2013 into your system?
Re: K-Meleon 76 Alpha
Date: September 21, 2015 03:52PM
That will not help anon because msvcr120.dll imports the kernel.dll function called GetLogicalProcessorInformation.
No idea why Firefox 38 does not call the function on anaon's system.

XPSP2 is not supported by MSVC2013. But you can replace the kernel file with the sp3 one.
Firefox use an hack you can't implement in kmeleon.

He will need kernel32.dll French version IMHO. IP from Toulouse.
German/English Google did not find any.

What about
getting full SP3 and taking kernel32 from inside?

Quick fix for the password manager (until the whole e10s thing is fixed, if that ever happen)
Replace omni.ja/modules/LoginManagerContent.jsm with attached file.
And delete omni.ja/jsloader/resource/gre/modules/LoginManagerContent.jsm

Thx for the fix, but honestly with me it didn't fix the password problem, let alone the history.
What could have gone wrong?
Thx in advance

Folks, I think we enter now ther land where too much is connected with hardware and OS config.
So, for more effective troubleshooting - please, show your HW and OS configs (at least CPU type and OS version) when reporting any problems.

Try deleting startupcache in your profile too.
What's the problem with the history?

Maybe firefox has an option, it should work for kmeleon.

I'm not sure if it matters, but I can always give mine.
