I wanted to make a RC initially but after a gecko update, kmeleon began to crash randomly. And I'm not really happy with the fix.

I am getting "un-expected end of file" when I use 7Zip to extract.

Uploaded again. Let's hope it will be fine this time.

It extracts without any issues now. I think it didn't upload fully the first time.

A little bug about the gesture plugin. After a left-button click on the scrollbar or some button, like google search, the following first right-button gesture won't work. It always acts like a right-button click. And after a right-button click, the gesture works again.

I have two issues to report:

1. The pages getting stuck/showing black when scrolling after having it open for a while with some pages being reloaded continuously is still happening.

2. Youtube videos are flickering and eventually show an "error has occurred" message.

Drag&drop doesn't work.

I only see the original "View Image" choice.

I was incorrect in my original post about this. I saw the similar items in the menu for an image with a link associated and mistook Open for View.



Have I made a mistake in the code that I added to my menus.cfg file?

Try as I might, no chance to show them. Adding any other command (e.g. Add-Favorite or macros) right next in the same menu works normal. Suspect KM thinks those commands don't exist so hides them automatically, but no idea ;-)

Another bug, not sure if already reported:
Cannot drag-drop local html-files into an open browser window any more.

The new multi-gesture is quite nice really, except that 99.9% of users will never discover it (no GUI -yet?), and now normal right-click gestures show this annoying mouse trailing line. Tried adding the drawline-pref found in the old dll source code, but didn't help :cool:

Noted that 76 beta 3 can't log into www.chase.com - a bank website.

Seems that the website thinks the java script is disabled. Using 75.1 to log in with no problem.

My bank, Wells Fargo, works just fine with the js in KM76 but some sites must check in different ways to see if js works. Browerspy says that I don't have js when I say that I do.

Someone e-mailed me that there is no Tabs plugin and therefore the "%ifplugin tabs" would not work. I checked and there nine other places in menus.cfg where it does work.

I think Dorian must have a work-a-round in place to make "%ifplugin tabs" work based on the pref "kmeleon.notab".

I have not tried the command names, has anyone tried them?

It seems that the command names for the new commands are working. It is just the command IDs which fail.

I changed my code in menus.cfg as follows:

It seems that SSE2 requirement is not completely gone.
Still my AthlonXP machine refuses to run k-meleon.exe.

So, what about the issue with pages becoming black? That issue also seems to be related to it not exiting when being closed (instead, it stays open and uses almost 50% CPU).
