KM 76 beta is still sending an incorrect value to $VERSION. The value sent is 33685506 but should be greater than 33685509.

Logins do work. How can one convert logins from KM 75.1 to work with KM 76?

Edit: I attempted some test with injectJS() and KM stopped responding.
Will test more.

The problem with the Page properties I mentioned for 76 Alpha still remains here in 76 Beta.
When you click Page properties with the right mouse click Links and Images do not show up. The only thing I see is a black background.

Can this be remedied?

I confirm the page properties problem.

These injectJS() statements cause KM 76 beta to stop.

The UA button image is not that from the privbar.

The issue with new tabs loading with a black background which then becomes a white one every now and then is still happening.

Disable display menu icons has no effect.

It's about the Klassic skin.
Change your skin from Default to Klassic and voilà.

I checked all my skins. At start of KM, the arrows in both directions are unlit.

Wonder if we have downloaded the same .7z package for KM-76 beta?
Freshly unpacked .7z package, never connected to the internet, only setting I've changed was the switch to the Klassic skin.
This is how my KM-76 beta looks like:

I think there has only been one beta available. Mine has:

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:38.0) Gecko/20100101 K-Meleon/76.0

and came from a 7-Zip file modified on 10/15/2015 3:07 PM. The kmeleon.exe file is of the same date but at 12:26 PM and is 2,393,088 bytes.

I am running it on Win 7 (32 bit).
It has connected to the internet. I have made some settings changes, but none that I know to affect navigation arrows.
I can try to make a list of changes if you think that would help.

I don't think that it will be of any help.
As you can see in the picture below, the kmeleon.exe file has the same size as yours but modified on 15-10-16 18:26.
Whatever, I assume that we both are not the only one who are testing on Windows. Wonder what others will experience.

That's just the time difference between Europe and America, and exactly the same file. Would have been amazing if different ones are inside the same 7z ;-)
Stupid logic of NTFS file systems, secretly saving in universal instead local time, but showing to users which time that was in his LOCAL current time zone and season. Makes that people in different time zones get completely different creation dates shown! Also keeps driving me mad when unable to compare folders on Vista after e.g. summer/wintertime has switched, claiming different time stamps on some files but not others, depending on originating OS, although all files are identic, GRRR!!

And yes, my arrows are blue too in Klassic, right after browser start already (76beta1 on vista)

I did a test by extracting KM76 to a USB stick. Yogi and siria are right. Both arrows are blue. Only when I used my skin, MyKlassic2 or Klassic2, did the arrows turn off. Some combination of things after using my skin will make the arrows right even when I go back to the Klassic skin which is shipped with KM. I have not found the combination yet in the test KM76. Right now the Klassic skin in the test KM will return to blue arrows. Will do more checking when time permits.

The js inside the macros have to be updated. They open the popup, then write inside which is not authorized anymore. Content must be set when the popup is opened. Any volunteer? :p

Perhaps somehow your own Klassic uses a toolbars.cfg with new commands, or you may have a toolbars.cfg in your profile somewhere, just to for curiosity I'd look which one actually opens with Edit>Config>Toolbars.

You are correct. I have different code in toolbars.cfg.

On the chance it was my system, I ran the datetime.kmm macro on the following:

K-Meleon 75.1 beta u5
K-Meleon 75.1 RC u1
K-Meleon 75.1

It worked on each one.

I tried the macro on K-Meleon 76 beta and the K-Meleon 76 beta on the USB stick with a clean profile and default skin. K-Meleon stopped responding on each of these.

Is not there something I can install in KM 76 to report on the 'stopped responding' error? This is the same macro which worked on 76 alpha but reported in wrong language.

A wild guess would be something that exists on your system that might not have been included in the 7-Zip file for the change from Alpha to Beta.

On which page do you run the macro? InjectJS is dependent of the current page unless you use the hidden parameter. But your macro works fine for me, anywhere. The 7z is just a copy of my folder, can't be different than mine.

Most of the time I just have run the macro on about:home. However I just tried it now on "http://www.eliomotors.com/"; with JS enabled. I got the same results - KM stops responding if using version 76 beta.

Just days ago I had to find a date-time code too for current macro, wanting to keep it compatible with KM1.6. Finally figured it out after a major struggle as always, but kinda love it now, so short and magic :-)

But this too crashes in 76beta1 on Vista: appcrash in km.exe
the crashing line is injectJS.
BUT no crash after deleting the red parts!

Attached is a fix for the docinfo macro.

No freeze, just instantly the harmless "appcrash" message.
Have found the crashreport-plugin, will try installing now and see...

Don't know how crashreport works... does it really have to be "installed"? That &6w3er vista machine tends to never let go of anything it ever got "installed", so I just unzipped it and put the two files into kplugins and km-root. The plugin does show up in F2>KM Plugins, but no idea if it creates anything or where.

Continuous reload does not seem to work in 76 beta.

A small problem with the login manager:

A user is still prompted to 'remember, not now, or never for site' for a site where the 'never for site' was previously selected. The site does show in the 'rejected sites' part of TOOLS > PRIVACY > VIEW DATA > VIEW PASSWORDS.
