liveip updates:

this update adddresses the issue of liveip super and liveip extreme calling a dialup connection dialog when there is no broadband access or when the default connection is dialup.
those extensions will no longer initiate a dialup connection, howver when run at first (macro init) and they don't find a connection, they will wait for 60 seconds assuming the user or kmeleon will initialise a connection before functioning.. if still no connection is available after 60 seconds they will terminate.

special condition for extreme edition (retrieves country)when a dialup connection is terminated during a browsing session (user going offline), it will exist immediately and will not attempt to establish a connection.

when a connection is interrupted or no connection is found at starup, both editions will display this message in the kmeleon status bar:


broadband users are not affected by this update but it's better to update because those extensions are now smarter

liveip plus and live ip basic were not affected by this bug as they don't attempt to establish a connection if none is available

weatherman updates:

update addresses the issue of weatherman initiating a connection dialog on dialup connections at startup or when changing city.

at startup, when no connection is found; weatherman will assume kmeleon or user is establishing a connection and willwait for 60 seconds(for a modem to make a connection) if no connection is made by then, weatherman will display messages in the statusbar and exit





broadband users are not affected by this update, nonetheless it's better to udate

I just redownloaded LiveIPplus Extreme and I'm getting an AutoIt error :

there;s no easy way to debug a compiled autoit, i debugged the source and it doesn't show any errors. the error is odd since liveip runs independently and does not require any passed parameters from kmeleon..they read all the kmeleon controls without the macro.

i added a slight delay which might fix the error on your machine at kmeleon startup..download from same link above, if it still doesn't work, then you will need to test the source

download autioittester -it;s a basic edition to test au3 files and doesn't require installing:

extract anywhere you like.

- go to kmeleon macros folder and delete constip.kmm

run kmeleon

while kmeleon is running, go to autoit folder and run autoit3.exe, browser to the kmeleon\tools folder and select liveip+wan+location.au3 source file (make sure kmeleon is running)


this will debug and say exactly what the error is

i'd really appreciate it if you can find out the exact error using the source thanks.

after you found out the erro, take note of it (snapshot will be nice), and until it's fixed, you can download the old liveip extreme:

that's a relief.. could have been a connection thing crippling it..autoit can be very fussy

fetching wan(external ip) function has been updated to use internal udf ..not much difference to the end user but better code

affects extreme and super editions, download from same links
