Cryptnote is not a full blown text editor which (as fSekrit) uses only one algorithm for encryption - AES. Edxor is full blown text editor and has multiple encryption choices ((Arcfour (RC4), QCypher, XOR, bit-wise reversion, shuffling of bytes, reverse, Hex2Bin/Bin2Hex, Base64 Enc/Dec; or any combination of them to customise your own security strategy).

For other products (small, pollution free, secure) from this author see this page:

Panzer,

Thanks for the explanation. For my own use I use either blowfish or twofish. These present new possibilities.

This one is also good:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serpent_(cipher)

It came second in Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) contest, because it is slower than Rijndael, but offers higher security margin.

Panzer,

thanks for the link... still looking around. For now CryptNote is good enough for my simple needs.

grinning smiley i meant i added an autoit update to them called panzpaste. it autopastes the clipboard into them, i thought i should tell you because panzpaste can be used universally with any extension that require a paste back into an external application.. just include the panzpaste in the tools folder and add an extra exec command in the macro

panzer,

With many thanks to KKO, who gave us a very robust macro scripting language, the answer is yes and thank you and if it works, don't muck around with it. <g>

You can also make an extension send text to URL(if you know how winking smiley I do not) for this sites (use it only if you trust them):

Ndeboard, you can also try these:

Or those two down below:

I have seven text editors more (<600 kb) - Zenedit, WinVi, Win32pad, Quick Editor (programming editor), Q10, metapad and GreenPad, but they do not have encryption option installed so they are no use to you.

Enjoy! grinning smiley
