Giorgio Maone will implement a code fix and K-Meleon compatibility will resume as of the next NoScript Dev build!

I see no announcement on K-Meleon compatibility for noscript on his web site.

I get the same error message with current noscript version (2.0.9.6) under K-meleon 1.6b2.

now reverting back to noscript v2.0.9.3 and will wait for a fix.

Trying KM 1.6b2 with noscript-2.0.9.3-km-0.2.7z

No noscript context menu when right-click page.
No noscript menu when right-click on noscript icon.

I can go through menus tools->noscript and then edit the whitelist and at first look this seems to work.

Although that is not user-friendly as you do not have visibility to javacrtipt domains blocked and no access to all noscript features.

Is this what you experienced as well ? Or is there a way to enable context menu, no script menu.

If You want to test other languages than English?
Copy the locales dir from a non English K-Meleon 1.5.4 over to 1.6beta.

AFAIK that is sufficient to offer the option to change and test other languages' chrome. Chrome parts that are not translated yet fall back an available language (English usually) when You change language settings. F2 gets You to the English Preferences. Top item offers language change.

dtd = language file; A single missing <!ENTITY definition line is a show stopper.

Hast du es auch auf de-DE mit dem durch7 nach Fehlern versucht? Fehler gefunden?
Eine der Fragen des Authors war, ob andere Sprachen auch da Fehler haben.
dtd = Sprachdatei; sobald eine einzige <!ENTITY Definitions-Zeile fehlt, geht nix mehr.

Solltest du mal u. U. gucken?
Fand NoScript für mich selbst zu nervig, gucke also nicht.

Nach Deutsch umgestellt kriegst du 1.6, wenn du aus 1.5.4 das Verzeichnis locales rüber kopierst hast. Dann sollten Chrome Teile, die eine Übersetzung haben in de-DE gehen, wenn die Manifeste da sind und nach de-DE umgestellt ist, sogar dann, wenn der Rest vom Chrome Englisch = noch nicht übersetzt ist. K-Meleon ist mit sowas sehr gutmütig.

p.s. Lese nur mit weil ich in fast jeden Post gucke, wenn wer postet, den ich nicht kenne. Nennt sich Moderator Krankheit, wenn man überall Spam vermutet.

hm, kA ob ich ws falsch mache, aber wenn ich die locale dateien aus dem 1.5.4 archiv in meine 1.6er installation kopiere, dann werden in den f2-optionen teilweise nur die übersetzten felder angezeigt, ansonsten sind die reiter entweder grau (bei "allgemein"zb) oder ich sehe gleich eine fehlerseite.
...und zu dem problem, dass kein dropdownmenü beim rechtsklick auf den noscript button erscheint kommt dann bei de-DE hinzu, dass bei den noscripteinstellungen in allen fenstern die häckchen fehlen. wenn ich die dann setzte, werden die nicht gespeichert oO
wird also irgendwie noch verplanter das ganze ^^

p.s.:bin in der materie leider nicht so bewandert, eher einfach experimentierfreudig, deswegen die krumme beschreibung ;-), sry

oh, and this "noscript contextmenu problem" appears on both windows 7 and xp...mysterious =)

noscript is now on version 2.1 (or should I say 2.1.0.0)

is there any chance of jk-- making a K-meleon compatible version of NoScript 2.1?

Extension made by jk is good, everything works, except the icon - when noscript is enabled or disabled icon stays the same, so you have to enable/disable it once to find out the current status (which appears in the status bar).

Please get the latest version of NoScript working with K-Meleon v1.7 & 1.8. Thanks.

The most recent version of KM-1.6-compatible NoScript is that one in the last 1.6db+NS build from dugbugoffice

NoScript for KM 1.8 (or 74) needs new adaptation. The good point is that we can try to adapt now the most modern version of NoScript.
