Profile Backup XUL http://kmext.sourceforge.net/extensions/xulprofbackup.7z is based on Pike's Bookmark Backups 0.4.1

Profile Backup XUL allows to backup bookmarks and other things by day of week.

The extensions Bookmarks Backup 0.4.11 http://www.pikey.me.uk/mozilla/addons/bookmarkbackup.xpi allows us to backup history, passwords, form history, and Firfox Bookmarks among other things

However,the Extension Bookmarks Backup 0.4.11 can not backup K-Meleon 74.0 and K-Meleon 75.0 Beta 1 bookmark files.

For The extension Bookmarks Backup 0.4.11 to be able to backupp K-Meleon 74.0 and K-Meleon 75.0 Beta 1 bookmarks

The extension Bookmarks Backup 0.4.11 must be changed to allow it backup bookmarks.html files.

The original firefox extension can be used now.

You can add bookmarks.html at the bottom in the field: Other files to backup.
You can add there all K-Meleon specific files.

So I do not intend to update the K-Meleon version. It is IMHO not needed.

Feel free to update it Yourself.

I am using the addon. I did change it.

In the addon is a chrome/content file called

groups.js. Change it to add bookmarks.html.


If You want to add other K-Meleon specific files there also:

In this file You can also add an item to appear in the preferences but then You need to add strings to locale strings.properties. If You want to do that You may even as well start with my old K-Meleon version of this addon.

I attached the one I use after adding kmeleon=K-Meleon to all locales.
And I used "kmeleon: ['IconCache.dat']," in groups.js.

Locate You own extra K-Meleon groups.js item there.
