Looks like it works.

It chose the system default language (es-es) without problems and then I set to English and worked too smiling smiley (using my old original+custom dictionaries from 1.6)

Thank you so much smiling smiley I hope this means less posts edits for text corrections smiling smiley

A doubt: if I'm not wrong, the previous added the context menu entry at the bottom of the menu. This version does at the top. Was/is it configurable?

Just to know.

I've updated it to fix unicode in menu. Download again.

If you want the menu item at the bottom, add in your profile menus.cfg

!TextPopup {
  -spellcheck(here)
  Spellcheck=spellcheck(here)
}

Can't be much better than this. I can now use words that I wish and not have to be constrained only to words that I can spell.

The bottom of menu code works well.

Ok, didn't know of the minus command in menus.cfg neither smiling smiley

I fixed also a carried misconception in a menu creation while testing too (that TextPopup couldn't be override, as some other).

Seems like it makes enormous RAM load when switched on.
Like it's been injected into every text input field of the pages opened.

Now UTF is working well! Thank you Dorian!

But the RAM issue (and some semi-freezing) still here. Switching off spellcheck kplugin makes work smooth again.

And one more note: we need a macro or core function that checks whether spellcheck module is loaded or not - and switches corresponding pref: I've unloaded spellchecker without switching it off by its own GUI - and now all the text I'm typing gets red-underlined.

This was a Facebook that - paired with spellcheck - had increased CPU usage. But some reloads of page took me back to smooth run.

!!! -> But spell checking doesn't allow to call its GUI into Facebook's text fields (comments). It works well in finding typos, but I cannot call 'suggest' menu (and any other context-menu items of spellchecker writing into these textareas).
