K-Meleon Web Browser Forum
I am trying out K-Melon browser
what I've read says that FF plugins work
on K-Melon..
However, each time I click the "download"
button, nothing happens.
I LOVE tab mix plus on my FF browser...
am not willing to use any other browser if
I cannot have verticle tabs.. (22" and 24"
screens give loads of room)
Will appreciate any help with regard to
this plugin and its compatibility with this
browser.

Any Firefox Extension that manipulates the Graphical User Interface will not work.
This means: tab mix plus - will not work.
Why? Firefox GUI is from XUL.
K-Meleon GUI is from a native windows32 widget.
If You mean with download that it starts to install?
No way - the Firefox XPI archives prevent that they install under K-Meleon. Even a K-Meleon that is given the tech to install cannot install them.
It also does not install because K-Meleon is not equipped with the XPI install mechanism. The mechanism and its parts were not added intentionally.

As has already been explained to you, only some FF extensions work with K-Meleon.
But as a substitute for TabMixPlus you could try TabsViewer (2 versions for different Windows OS).
