Creating the backup of XPI-addons, compatible with K-Meleon!!!

Dear comrades!

There is a one bad news: after EOL of FF 52ESR Mozilla wants to delete all the Quantum-incompatible XPI-addons from AMO site.

There is a project devoted to the backup of these addons but we cannot rely on it as there is no ready backup for now.

So I think we need make our own base of checked and known as compatible addons.

Please, help me! What we need - just if you know some FF-addon, which is working in K-Meleon - just save the XPI and place here the download URL you've used.

Usually, standart procedure will be next:

1) google for the 'addon name' + 'firefox - one of the first results should point to AMO site
2) go there to the addon page (Ex.: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ie-tab/)
3) scroll down to the Version history or just add 'versions' to the URL:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ie-tab/versions/
4) find freshest compatible instance for v.38 of Firefox
5) right-click on Add to Firefox button and "Save target as" or just "Copy link URL". Post the link here in thread.
https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/file/204642/ie_tab-4.0.20130422-fx-windows.xpi?src=version-history

A lot of used addons are listed in special thread by George Hall et al.
This should help us.

But this list isn't exhaustive.

Mozilla has already started deleting all traditional Firefox XUL-addons! sad smiley
First Sep-05 was announced, but later was said Oct-05.

ALTERNATIVE for Thunderbird compatible addons:
Some addons run not only in Firefox, but also in Thunderbird or Seamonkey.
So far all addons for Firefox+SM+TB were hosted together on https://addons.mozilla.org
But now Mozilla itself has forked that archive for Thunderbird!
That means all addons which can work in Firefox AND Thunderbird will remain available for awhile longer!

Add-ons for Firefox and Firefox for Android can be found at
https://addons.mozilla.org (also known as AMO).
Add-ons for Thunderbird and SeaMonkey can be found at
https://addons.thunderbird.net.

The Firefox add-on development platform was migrated in 2017 to a new technology called WebExtensions. This makes it easy to create ((much less)) powerful cross-browser add-ons using web technologies. Throughout 2018, all legacy add-ons and legacy features on AMO are being phased out ((=deleted))

Given that Thunderbird and SeaMonkey still use legacy add-on technology, it was decided it would be easier for the add-on websites to split, so AMO can do away with legacy features and continue its development.
The site is managed by the Thunderbird Council and runs on Mozilla infrastructure. It runs on a forked version of the AMO code, and the Mozilla Add-ons Team are working with the Thunderbird Council to make the transition as smooth as possible.
(....)
Since add-ons can support both Firefox and Thunderbird, or Firefox and SeaMonkey (or all of them), an add-on can be on both sites. The websites are independent, so changes done on one doesn’t reflect on the other.

So, since Thunderbird also belongs Mozilla, they did a (complete?) fork now in the first step, and in the second one can bet will be deleting all addons there too which or "only firefox". Just hopefully with as much delay as possible
