Adding on to the above post. Here is a simple K-Meleon Extension that can be installed with the K-Meleon Extension Manager or manually extracted:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/hello-world-extensions/files/K-MeleonExtensions7z/HelloWorldPkg.7z/download
To make an extension compatible with the extension manager just add a kmextensions/your_extensions.ini file. Then make an LMZA .7z archive with 7-zip.
