Like most freeware, this is not the only program that does what it does. I recommend this one if you'd like to try it, though.
I didn't realize Double Killer updated at the end of May to ver 1.6.0.78. If you run Double Killer, you will likely want this one. It has some nice refinements.
If you haven't used a program that kills your duplicate files, please be very careful. For people new to this, you should be advised that you WANT a great many of the duplicate files in your system. >>That's all he wrote; then you were on your own. BE CAREFUL.<<
For experienced folk, this is one way to screen files by your own criteria, which might be (for example) size and checksums, while (for example) choosing to not check for filenames and dates (becuz names and dates don't mean much).
I've used this program for years, but I've never applied it to K-Meleon files. I'm thinking it might be useful, if used with great caution while experimenting, in working with files in updates such as kko's in his thread at
http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?f=1&i=28672&t=28672
The advantage I'm thinking about is checksum comparison. Double Killer can see a lot more into a file than we can by just looking.
