Over time sessions.json has been growing, when I look into it (with a text editor) each session entry has multiple duplicated entries, some related to the entry plus many that "seem" to be the url of my home page I would liek to trim sessions.json back to it's minimum required size does anyone know how/if sessions.json can be cleaned, short of wiping and starting a fresh

All Recently my previously stable K-Meleon 7.5.1 has developed an annoying bug My K-Meleon is installed on the D:\ drive with all files and profile, two days ago it started as if I had just installed it with no bookmarks, home page, sessions or any other settings On inspection it had made a new profile & Profile.ini in C:\Documents and Settings\MyUser\Application Data\K-Meleon\

In 75.0 he was correctly, and does work with both type of links without problem. Again correct it has only just stopped working (since 75.1 upgrade)

The type that causes this (seems) to be .torrent After a few more tests some work (of this form) http://releases.ubuntu.com/16.04/ubuntu-16.04-desktop-amd64.iso.torrent but this from type doesn't /torrent.php?tid=xxxxxxx this worked in k-mel 74 (& IIRC 75) but stopped in 75.1

I've tried setting in the pop-up, Automatical do for this file type I've tried pefences (F2) File handling, By Type, Open wih... and now I've tried "about:preferences" Applications, Use... and still I get the pop-up asking

Thanks But the file type (appears) to be known K-Mel presents the dialogue with the correct "default" app shown but will not justr use it to open that type, I even tried unchecking the automatic box closng and trying again recheck the box most days I have 6 plus files in one session and every one asks

I'll give that a go It was so long since I set up the old 1.6, I may have forgotten that gem I do prefer K-Mel 74 but it runs a bit slow (on some sites and at odd times) not to mention that for a while I could not open 74 from a file or link Although I worked out a solution to that and can run either 1.6 or 74 with a simple change (add or remove ";" from an ini)
