Fixed it! Simple. I had a menu spillover value set in bookmark plugin settings. So I experimented by unchecking that and selecting scrolling arrows instead. The menu then showed full width. So... fingers crossed - I reset the spillover again (I don't want to scroll) and it worked as it should. Haven't a clue why this should be work - but it's like doing so cleare

Unlocking the toolbars doesn't change it John. Yes - that's exactly how it looks siria! The file isn't that large. I can add fresh bookmarks with Ctrl+ D & also open the edit dialog with a shortcut & scroll down it - it's just the main dropdown width that's screwed.

Upon loading k-m asks for bookmark file I browse to the html file, select it and k-m loads But nothng appears when I click on the bookmarks icon except for a narrow white bar extending down below the button But the correct location shows in bookmarks plugin options & plugin is enabled. Newly generated html file works. So then I pasted in a batch of urls from old bookmarks and it still works. Guess I'll keep pasting batches in and saving until it freezes. Unless there is a better way? Size is 122kb

I can add to bookmarks fine and nicknames still work but either clicking on the toolbar icon or CTRL+B causes a freeze. My current workaround is to have created a hotkey link to the bookmarks html file in order to open the list of bookmarks. I tried replacing the html with a fairly recently saved version - this worked fine for a few days, but this too freezes km now.

I can't be scientific about when things changed because I've retained this old Goanna version dated 2018-11-03 (Goanna/3.4 K-M 76.0) in which images toggle off on sites like the ones I mentioned. Couple of times a week - sometimes longer intervals These are just examples - it varies - I'll press any letter and the win 7 start menu opens - press another letter or numeral and a folder opens etc Have to log off and on to fix it. Sometimes I find gremlins or slow downs but I'd say there's always one or two that are 90% reliable for weeks or a few months at a time I just checked 4 instances, 3 were fine, 1 was very slow Occasionally search doesn't work on various instances but you can get around that by adding /search?q= after the instance name in your browser address bar J

To my surprise, on this notebook Opera GX is knocking spots off other browsers on resource heavy sites. I'm using its cpu and ram limiter settings (located under GX Control on the sidebar). The GUI is rather garish, but can be toned down a little with judicious selection of colours.
