You may have adblock and flashblock installed side by side. Try disabling adblock or playing with the filters. Brian

What in the world... I could've sworn I typed out a reply to this. Oh well. #1 You can create a button for about:config easily, I would say. Just poke around a bit. Searching for "toolbar" on the forums should yield a few helpful results. If you don't want to mess with it, I can probably whip something up by the end of the week (shortage of time lately). #2 This question

And thank you, guenter. You've been with the project much longer than me and you have actually stayed active with the project, unlike myself. Thank all of you wonderful people: Dorian, Enaitz, Fred, guenter, Hao Jiang, Alain Aupeix, kko, mark307, ndebord and all of the rest of you wonderful people. Brian

AFAIK, no. Of course, you could go in and manually add the data from the images, css, javascript, etc. to the html, but I don't know of a way you could do it straight from K-Meleon. Brian

@Dave You may have to change the settings in about:config. Type "flash" into the filter and change flashblock.enabled to... false? (sorry, I'm not using a build with flashblock in it, so I can't check) Ohhhhh... and also make sure you restart K-Meleon. Disabling flashblock requires a restart. That includes turning off the loader as well (if you are using it). Brian

Install flash. That's all you need to do. If you want, you can find the NPSWF32.dll file in the plugins directory in Firefox and copy it over to the plugins directory in K-Meleon. It should work then (after a restart of K-Meleon). Brian

You can delete the flash plugin from your plugins folder in the K-Meleon directory. The filename is NPSWF32.dll. This will effectively rid K-Meleon of the capability of opening/rendering flash files. Brian

I would recommend just downloading K-MeleonCCF 0.05.65.5, however if you are particularly interested in this, I can supply a new link to the file: http://rapidshare.com/files/6690298/ietab_for_k-meleon.zip.html This ietab_for_k-meleon.zip file was created almost a year ago... so it most likely needs to be updated. If I'm correct, the new files you would need to grab from K-MeleonCCF 0.05

@David do I paste it over the K-Meleon Plugins folder or the KPlugins folder? Paste it to the plugins, not kplugins. With K-MeleonCCF 0.05.2 and Shockwave Flash 9.0 r16, the website renders perfectly (just as in Firefox). Brian

Sorry... I've never actually used Tor before. I just looked up the settings for it on the internet and that's what I found. You can strip out all of the unnecessary parts from that macro and it will still work just fine. Torrify{ togglepref(INT, "network.proxy.type",1,0); togglepref(STRING, "network.proxy.socks","127.0.0.1",); togglepref(INT, "

@mark If you are still interested, I tinkered around with it a bit and figured out a way to add a "torrify" button. It uses text only, but if you throw some graphics my way, I can make it work with that too (if you don't figure it out on your own). Here's the code for it: #----- Add to macros.cfg: ------ Torrify{ togglepref(INT, "network.proxy.type",1,0);

You persuaded them to use K-Meleon instead of Firefox? That actually sounds like an easy task, considering K-Meleon's a lot easier to configure (with the deeper settings) than Firefox. In fact, I could probably come up with a K-Meleon version of Torpark within about a day if I spent the day on it. Brian

Oh yes, and instead of fetching the file from: http://brian2006.be/temp/Nuvola-0.3.2-mod.zip You can find it here: http://bst82551.ath.cx:8181/temp/Nuvola-0.3.2-mod.zip Just so you know, this would require that you switch to the Nuvola skin or adapt this to another skin. Brian

A tor button? This would be very easy to accomplish with the proxy toolbar I made a very long time ago. Brian

Wow! It IS faster! The only set of DNS servers I've used that have been this fast was with my cable internet service before. Faster AND more secure! I wouldn't be surprised to see them start charging small fees. Brian

I think adding yet another section to the forums would only add to the confusion... so, I think I'd have to agree with what ra says. Combine bugs and development, rename general, add off topic. Brian

Usually most download managers include a plugin of some sort to use with K-Meleon. The name of this plugin will be something like NPSWF32.dll or NPNUL32.dll. You simply copy this file over to the plugins (not kplugins) folder in your K-Meleon installation directory, then restart K-Meleon. Usually the plugin can be found somewhere in the Shareaza installation directory... somewhere in one of the

Grendel, I could upload these as well if you'd like. I see Smoke, iFox Smooth, and K-Scribblies Kids. I really like all of those themes... especially K-Scribblies Kids. If you'd like to upload them all yourself, I could pass on the login to you in an e-mail or I could upload them myself. Either is fine. Let me know. brian2006@gm
