The sound is turned all the way down. Sliding the volume control (X) to the right get's the sound back. I understand that it is a youtube problem that is currently being worked on to fix it.

Thanks for the reply. No nothing has changed, it is the same one I've been using for a number of years. Just odd that it would have an alert now. I submitted it as a false positive to Avast, so I'll see what, if any, action will be taken. Thanks again for the reply.

This morning I attempted to run the extension manager and it was blocked by Avast as a potential threat. A check with VirusTotal and there are 4 threat alerts being shown for (kmextman). Could someone please verify this, thank you. In the mean time I can no run the extension manager even though I've added it to the exclusion list. I know I can manually install, but I've been using

After many rechecks, I decided it's easier to just start a fresh one rather than continue this time consuming trial and error session. The annoyance is gone and I can move on. I thought that it would be a simple find and fix, but boy was I wrong. Thanks for all of all your replies. Still puzzles me as what caused that oddity, but it's time to move on.

Just for the sake of it, I just downloaded another copy and there is only one listing when running this copy, so it is something I've added that caused this to happen. But like I indicated, with all of the additions that I will have to make manually, I'll wait until I have to or feel up to it Thanks for the help.

If I was just starting to use it, I would. But I have a few addons, some that require manual insertions like the javascript on/off button and my downloader and it's just not worth the bother at this time. Maybe, when, if an update is issued and I have to do all of it over again. Thanks for all of the replies.

They're identical and I've looked in all of the usual places that one might search to find something but to no avail. I should have, maybe, phrased it an annoyance rather than a problem because it doesn't hinder the performance of the browser in any way. It's just weird to see two of them whenever I use the Edit menu. Oh well, life goes on

Sorry to report that I've looked just about every where I can think of and, for the life of me, I cannot find any thing that would give a hint as how I have two identical entries for the "Configuration" selection. I guess I'm just stuck with it :-( By the way, on the other hand, this browser edition seems to the most stable of all the "new" ones, at least it is on

Got it. If you are using a downloader, don't. Try the right click save file as method, that worked for me, archive is 17.8 MB.

To Dan, the item DVD Shrink is not free, but a free download. The price is $28.95 for the program + 9.85 for support + 9.85 for a manual, for a grand total of $48.65. This is definitely not the free one that most are aware of.

Thanks for the reply. I'm aware of KM's development status (it's been my default browser for a few years now) and I continue to use 1.54 on a daily basis. I was just trying out the beta and alpha to see just how stable they were. So far none compare to the stability of 1.54. For sites that give 1.54 trouble, I use the PaleMoon browser. Thanks again.

Hi, just downloaded and setup the KM170a2 and everything was working fine until I attempted to sign in here. Log In went okay, but no remember password box appeared to save the log in. I then attempted to view the saved passwords but the box does not appear. Has this been reported? XPHome SP3 all updates.
