Quotewin2kfan Does it help to change the user agent in order to access rewe.de? Do I need a macro / extension?I'm not having an issue? Although, I'd note to be wary of using Win2k for online purchases. Quote浦东杨高795路 Strongly recommend update to the NEWER GOANNA KERNEL.I wish. The current Pale Moon (and Serpent) releases are on par with Firefox 60-something, but this use

Quotesupsm Hey, I like this browser but I want to compile it from source myself. I couldn't find any updated info on it, and the repo doesn't have any hints either. Could you provide a walkthrough of this? Thanks a lot.Did you make any progress on this? I think you need to use 2 of his github repos to get a working binary. It would be great if more folks with development skills got in

Thanks for the kind words. I have not added many new pages into the wiki. I tried to focus on updating the old content. For example here is the old screenshot page: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/view;Screenshots?version=57 And now after updates: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/view;Screenshots?version=71 And as I said in the other thread: I wouldn't fret about trying to read all of

QuoteWasiFH QuoteRJJIII you can refer to this page: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/WikiHowTo (The WikiHowTo page lists all of the help documents and tools for the wiki.) To start a new page, just put the title you want into the URL. Using CamelCase makes it easier to link within the wiki. QuoteZero3K I am trying to have it be added to ReactOS' Application Manager. Maybe someone else could host a self-extracting version. Or you could compress them as ZIP instead of 7Z.I don't know why zip would be better than 7z? Also if you are trying to organize/maintain a package for ReactOS, note that it has some graphical errors. More info here: https://reactos.org/forum/viewtopic

Regarding Rodocop's post: I somehow missed this initially. Next week, I should be able to take some time and figure out why this happens. Regarding Live Block: I believe you mean the ability to see and block active scripts on a page? AdBlock Plus for Firefox, ABPrime, old AdBlock Plus for KM, and naruman's AdBlock Plus for v. 75 all have this feature. I think it's possible to ad

I think the RAM usage would be similar to pdf.js because the macro might not use much but the website the macro would pipe the pdf into would have to do something similar to pdf.js. NPAPI let's another application (Adobe or SumatraPDF) display content within K-Meleon which is how they can go so low. Rodocop had likely identified the lightest way to render a pdf in the browser unless there is

I've expanded the Welcome page into a site map with a brief preface explaining that it served a similar but different function before: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/wiki/Welcome And I've added a small bar to the bottom of the main page with: The Welcome page site map, The wiki's translation feature, & The wiki's built-in but mostly hidden search feature. It's Dorian! Welcome back And yes even though I haven't been posting so much, I still use KM. I took some time to try and update the English Wikipedia article on it recently ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K-Meleon ). I also use the browser frequently with a client of mine, we use a tablet new enough to run Windows 10 and Tux Paint, but to play YouTube videos, there's really n

You're on the correct page. Those are the options to divert new window requests into the current window. First, check to make sure that's the correct profile: Open K-Meleon In the menu select Edit > Configuration > Profile Directory Open up user.js in that file and make sure it's the same one that you've edited Edit: I checked on Rodocop's 76.2 pro release and this worked on 76.2 also.

Thanks for pointing that out! I've updated the code in the link. I checked on this site: https://www.w3schools.com/jsref/tryit.asp?filename=tryjsref_win_open5 Also, I believe only the last 2 lines are necessary now in KM76. Those 2 preferences can be set from the big preferences dialog (F2) but they are a bit buried.

Windows 2000 renders the default "AuraAlpha" theme with glitches because Windows 2000 didn't fully support alpha transparencies. (Note that "Klassic" already has no alpha transparencies and will work fine on Win2k.) I made this theme to retain the default appearance without any alpha transparencies. It uses Lim Chee Aun's Phoenity Aura icons and is available under th

And no offence taken  And regarding the human power, maybe we're on the same page. SeaMonkey (Frank-Rainer Grahl) and Pale Moon (MC Straver, Jeremy Andrews) both seem to have knowledgeable and skilled programmers pouring effort into the projects plus volunteers. But compare that to Mozilla's Gecko, Apple's Webkit, or Google's blink. Each has 100's of full-time e

Lol, as one of those 15 weirdos I'll explain my personal reason. I saw K-Meleon as an open-source project that I would like to contribute to. Initially I guess I imagined myself submitting patches. In GitHub to submit a patch you "fork" the project and then submit your changes as a "pull request" from your personal fork. So then what happened is that I started to learn mo

Thanks Roytam! I tested the new release on Windows 95, 98, and 2k. I updated the installer with your new ciphers. I updated the documentation with an explanation for running on Windows 95. The browser seems to run fine on Windows 95 with both 5.0 and 5.82. Connecting to the internet felt more complicated than I remember and I got some random errors including 403 for these forums even though t

"It also appears to me, form your post, that you and many others do not experience such silent crashes. This makes me thinking something may be wrong in my system?" I don't experience them. I believe you tried multiple machines earlier in the thread? Have you tried a clean install without your profile? That would narrow it down. Is there a specific website that will reliably

Thanks for looking into an automated sitemap. It could be a good purpose for the Welcome page, and at some point I may go through and manually do a sitemap. If I take a shot at that, I'll post a draft first. I see in the page's history that somebody started doing exactly that but looks like they never finished and just reverted everything. The issue I see with adding all of the KMele
