Erratic history funcionality. - clicking does nothing - righ clicking and choosing options (now greyed out if not using tabs) does nothing - doesn't update when changing viewing options At this moment, switching back to beta 1 update 1. I have too much dependency on history :_(

Still hanging the process. With the Flickr procedure I talked in the other thread I'm having the expected hang results. Even others are reporting happening in Windows 7, as I only can reproduce it in Windows 2000. I end requesting for a fix for it. For me hasn't much sense.

I began with the obvious, the visual aspect: - you can't change skins in 2k nor XP (skins not enumerated in the drop down list) - broken support for older skins in 2k and XP; in 2k not only the icons aren't correctly cropped, but added the black background, what it hadn't previously: - the locked toolbars, when unlocked, can't be dragged (reported in the b1 thread) -

Another bug: Clicking in the details tab of a certificate (you can try with a CA certificate if you don't have your own) makes K-meleon 75b1u1 to crash.

Great. Quite clever "attack". But now it is harder because the subdomains flag. If not set, could be done manually. I did by myself for some hosts. And the best, the last phrase about Google. LOL. Google, making great things for us ¬¬

Just the 2 remaining questions: "And the big questions are, why every Firefox extension generates 2 errors about kmeleon.js and load.kmm not found? Are they that important? what does kmeleon.js do? what does load.kmm do? (about this was a tiny reference in the past and no more)" I understand in the 4th question above you replied, guenter, that the addons that work will be those th

Ok, thanks adodupan. I was searching about how to run overlay.xul files and so on just to try to undertand and there is a missing component if I'm not wrong. After this, I'd say now what I posted above, tell exactly the steps needed for, at least, be able to install addons. Yesterday I edited several times the supposed "guide" in spanish because I wasn't sure o

Ok, I think I found part of the discussion here: http://board.protecus.de/t313.htm Even with Bing translation (I find a little better sometimes) I find comfronted opinions and as I can't get to the first link (even at archive.org) I don't know exactly what is the discussion about. What really ken proves. I like the exact details when talking about security If you don't mi

This addon creates an html menu appended to the page when found a youtube page. It isn't triggered by user interaction, but by page load interaction. I will ask other way: what limits the execution of Firefox addons in K-meleon? We can call XUL windows when needed with macros, but, this kind of execution that there is not direct interaction??? why not is autoexecuted? I don

@chan the 7 version was just a small update to 6 if I'm not wrong. Even they routed you to the 6.0 manual. Did you read it in the advanced section for creating rules? Of course, try to remove/disable any default rule. May be some in conflics with your rules. Sorry if I don't test myself. @Yogi, what I read Ajax is vague reply. Not remembering or couldn't add more information.

I knew I shouldn't translate a guide without understanding exactly how the Firefox extensions are installed and run. Trying to help Yago, an spanish user, I tried to install the 1-click youtube video download extension/addon and run it. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1-click-youtube-video-downl/?src=search Ok, you set the preference xpinstall.enabled and kmeleon.inst

I know what happens if the IP is hardcoded, but I have other monitor software and I don't have traffic for Kerio. I have traffic for it, but when it transfers data to the admin console. Nothing else. I also had firewalled IE to warn and other measures. I never had that suspicios behavior or I never noticed. Really, I'd swear I never had that problems. I'm keeping a closest

That connection wasn't notified by Kerio. >-( :-? Never noticed such thing. First time I hear about it. I also run my own DNS server and I've nev

@guenter I didn't know that. So there is one method or another. Nice, post above edited. BTW I'm blind, even I managed to highlight the new messages via usercontent.css I didn't see this topic @Yago, para editar el archivo primero debes extraerlo, modificarlo con el Bloc de notas o con WordPad y luego, con sólo arrastrarlo de nuevo al archivo .xpi, automáticamente se rec

I think it is another application to avoid too. Now is called "PC Tools Internet Security", a bundle of tools It had an online guide, but I see now it is not the same as it was: http://www.pctools.com/security/help/Online_Help-Security.htm Even at archive.org doesn't work for the 6.0 version: http://wayback.archive.org/web/20101206172723/http://www.pctools.com/firewall/hel

Quotechan There is a lot I do not know about firewalls. But I have several XP computers that have been set up this way for about 10 years. All I have to do is remove the checkmark from that rule and they will not access the internet. I have Belkin routers and it's the same with all of them. They simply use the default IP of http://192.168.2.1/ The only difference I've seen is w

No, you are wrong. Permitting access to the router's IP doesn't grant you access to Internet. That rule in particular only lets access to the router IP, probably for configuration access (the rule name says everthing, in fact). Unless you have a proxy in the router and you need to access internet through it, that rule is just dumb and the way you pretend (the guy of dslreports,

Really, are the rows. I just tested now with my unfinished skin. Your posted code is ok. Use this image. It is a PNG, so change the image name in skin.cfg About the menuicons.cfg, I admit I never fully understood, but it has as much bmp definitions copies as commands for that image icons. Skin.cfg comes to solve that mess, so just one image for every command you declare for a particula

How many rows do you have in your skin images? First row: hot (mouse over) cold (usable) Second row: cold (usable) hot (mouse over) Third row: dead (not usable and usually with half transparency)

about:config url, not file. The file, if we could call it "the file" is prefs.js (and user.js) but there you have to manually insert preferences and in the config page (about:config url) are shown preferences that are set by default and default ones aren't written to any prefs.js file (this is in your profile but I don't recommend edit withou knowledge, and even with it).

That will change the preference for ALL plugins, but it is just for testing purposes. If you search for dom.ipc.plugins preferences, you will see individual preference for the other plugins. You have the dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.npswf32.dll preference, but in the end all is controlled but the told preference. (Damn what guenter said, I was slow and I'm now with just only the keyboar

Check with Firefox the preference dom.ipc.plugins.enabled in about:config and set it to false (so no plugin container/process is created). Look if that makes any change in Firefox. Just curious of the results (I can't test myself, sorry). Might be that your system can't handle a separate process for the plugins and you would need to run the plugins inside the browser itself.

LOL, so in Windows 7 you can have several hanged processes from the same executable (exe/path) without noticing it!!! except for the alerts. Wow, that's crazy. More if we count on that each process, when hangs, has over 100MB of RAM allocated. At least in Windows 2000, if the K-meleon process hangs, you can't open K-meleon again because a K-meleon.exe process is still running. Pro

Update 2015-01-03: They suggested me to report after they checked in the support forum, so I'll report as bug. And a note I want to add, K-meleon 75, this is GRE 31 DOESN'T BLOCK ANY JAVASCRIPT EXECUTION after toggle the preference. Test in the same page I posted with any version of K-meleon (and, therefore GRE version) and you'll see: http://www.geocities.ws/jothache/e

If you mean by your post in Extensions instead of a better place like General, just report yourself (at the bottom of each message there is a report link). Write what you need and a moderator will check and do what is needed. I recommend you to report to move to General, instead delete it. By the way, you could be more specific with the problem as 1.6 can access YouTube through SSL, actu

At this point, after find a way to reproduce it with Flickr, must be a Windows 2000 wrapping problem as I can't replicate on XP. In the end, I have a .dwi file from Dependency Walker I captured in Windows 2000 testing with the Flickr procedure. As there is too much personal information in a .dwi, I'd only send to you if you are really interested in it, Dorian, if you don't mind

It's not a bad idea to use an older Flash version. I used YouTube Downloader HD utility, but Google move from normal MP4, to MP4-DASH, and that utility needed an embedded ffmpeg to support it, but that version of ffmpeg didn't support older operative systems. I found a version that supported MP4-DASH, so I used it to download files without that utility, but then (about a month or two
