The 7z files often have the folder structure built-in, no instructions. Perhaps mention the hexed flash too, still works by far the best for me (although still forced to use the ancient version myself ;-)

Whoa you're right - as a normal zip file it gets a tiny 1/4 of the ja-size!! Just wonder how much time that quirky format may really save. Remembering that either MS (no security zones in statusbar) or Mozilla (no CAPS system) removed some crucial security function telling that it would save a whopping 0.05 sec at each page load! Or how much difference would be with a smaller compressed

Boah... today is the first time that this guru meditation thing is getting really annoying... So far it never lasted longer as 2-3sec for me :-/ @guenter: all 3 strings contain already firefox. But FF compat mode is already ON by default too. Now I wonder: does FF then appear 2x in the string? Or is it somehow automatically reduced to 1x again?

It's a good first draft  Frankly, while the folder list looks interesting, but when I look at it from a clueless-user-viewpoint, just seeing the ToC would make me run away screaming ;-) Of course, I don't really know how to make it better either. Perhaps... make the profile stuff more separate, perhaps something more in clear text... hmm Profiles+Cache per User (installed

QuoteDharnishNever thought Kmeleon could have a bug ROFL!!! Thanks for the laugh But THIS actually is no bug, because it was fully intentional that the UA-macro was removed Now you could say, but then the tooltip text is wrong! True, but still I'm glad it's still there anyway, because there exist several UA custom macros which can provide that function again, and then it'

Actually I do assume it will work under Vista, but haven't tried yet because of no urgent need currently. 7z does run fine on 98se up to version 9.30, only 9.34 not anymore. But somehow the same tools and versions that work for others don't seem to work on my old main machine, so perhaps those tools may use some native windows unzip functions in background instead of only the 7z.dll

Or simply use the page search, Ctrl+F to search for "! string hand" It is the jump targets that create this ToC themselves.

Update to version-5, see above. Added 2 more tests: - If InjectJS can return a variable - Right-click on a link to test line order with 1) ID_SAVE_LINK_AS 2) alert The second does not even contain any javascript in the macro kmm. I didn't hold much hope that the alert box would wait until the link is saved, but actually the second popup even opens as first! (Only tested in KM1.

Quotegordon451 Quotesiria Krass... Is that absolutely non-intuitive trick described already in the wiki-howto-pages? It is now Thank you Hi James, I just checked, there really are blanks between, just not in ALL header lines, only the ones appearing in the ToC. Look for the lines that do appear in the top menu, the first is "String Handling". That said, why not use that automa

Do you mean this part? QuoteYou need to "Set Firefox Extensions Install" in the edit menu you with the xpinstallext.kmm mscto by JamesD http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/file.php?9,file=822,filename=xpinstallext.kmm That just toggles a pref, but your screenshot shows that pref is already "true", so this part is finished. Check the other instructions again, especially the

The default skins always served as naming examples. I just took the old Klassik and Phoenity as template for classiria and extended it on that base. Guess the new Aura doesn't follow a system anymore, but if it still did, that wouldn't help much either to sort a long toolbar list alphabetically ;-)

QuoteguenterRecompressed files did sometimes not work for some time - but this problem is solved now AFAik. Ah yes, Re-Zipping seems to be even more complicated than just unzip! Incredible how complicated Mozilla makes things now. http://inpursuitoflaziness.blogspot.de/2014/01/editing-files-from-omnija-in-firefox-20.html

Usually it can do Unicode, that was an official MS ServicePack some months after 98se came out. But since those tools all seem to work for you, I'm assuming they probably will also work on my offline-Vista. So for the moment, just for some occasional reading access, the extraced info-zip files will hopefully be enough.

Had tried the latest. "Archive is not readable. Would you like to try a password?" But perhaps we should better split those omni-unzip-postings into a separate thread...

Peazip too: Cannot open as archive info-zip: Yeah funny, no one seems to know it  Have already tried 2-3 versions, but same result with all. I do suspect the extracted files might be correct despite the error, but when I'll really need it for a serious task some day I'd probably try the vista version. Also am wondering more and more, if it may have something to do with the

Thank you for all the unzip-tips After finally having given up on 7z, and trying to find a freeware (winrar is time-limited), one of the search hits was this: developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/About_omni.ja_%28formerly_omni.jar%29 It links to the original info-zip tool that Mozilla themselves seem to use. I tried the unzipper, and that slightly weird prehistoric thing actually ex

QuotegordonYour ToC... the Wiki ToC happens automagically when you create headers, almost exactly as Wikipedia does it. So, don't use the construction !!! Header !! sub-Header ! sub-sub-Header which has a space after the "!". Use instead !!!Header !!sub-Header !sub-sub-Header with no space. These will not be used as ToC. Krass... Is that absolutely non-intuitive

Tsss.... I'm lousy at translations too, somehow in german literal translations tend to sound just silly, but anyway: Linux-Helfer (Mailto-Links und mehr) Speichert Adressliste besuchter Seiten (Verlauf) -------- 7z: After a long search finally found the download-links, but still cannot open omni.ja How exactly do you open it, step-by-step??

You shock me :O Seriously? I need them often, for example for testing new macros without having to close the current browser session all the time. It can keep running and I just start a second session, which of course needs a separate profile.

QuoteJamesDQuotesiria In F2>macros there are two native ones declared as "user-defined": places.kmm + tuxhelper.kmm QuoteJujuLand tuxhelper is a macro which allows to use some features not possible with wine under Linux (due to some protocols not implemented in wine, like mailto, for exemple...) It is easy to fix if you know all the languages required. I know only English. It
