Another online link scan. It's a nice addition to SiteAdvisor & co.
This online tool allows you to scan for any suspicious link that might lead you to harmful threats which can attack your computer. This service is using database from PhisTank, AVG, SiteTruth and Google Safe Browsing (as usually ;-) when scanning with macro JS isn't needed).

Well, from my observation and tests the old/original translate.kmm works (no problems with language pair boxes, etc.) so I'm gonna stick with it.

Get the original URL of tiny one; handy if you want protect yourself from malicious links.
Access: Right click on tiny URL > Untiny (link context). E.g. right click on this URL http://tiny.pl/htk and select > Untiny to extract it (format of the result is XML).
Untiny supports over 200 tiny services and macro doesn't need JS enabled unlike visiting untiny.com. Ideally, the origin

From IDM > Options > General > check Use advanced browser integration. After system reboot K-Meleon will appear on the browser list and IDM will pass downloads to K-M. At least it did work for me.

Johannes, try out SpywareGuard or SpywareBlaster. Both apps work on Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and blaster supports K-Meleon, mayby guard also but I did not test it.

QuoteJujuLandIt would be nice too, to add context menu entries to allow checking links.
Right click on the link/page does the trick, doesn't it? Or did You mean something else?

K-Meleon has a built-in translation feature; try Tools > Translation to translate the whole page or select text and choose Translation from right click menu.
If you really miss this extension why don't you ask the QTL developer(s) to make it K-M compatible?

QuoteJamesDTry putting the code in a hotlink. It does not seem to have the size limitation there.
Yep, hotlink doesn't have the limitation. I'm gonna try out Your extension, jsnj 'cause it offers more features than putting the code in a hotlink.

It's a pity K-M can't handle long bookmarklets . And there is bunch of usfull bookmarklets out there... hope it will be improved in future releases.

QuotesiriaMust admit over the years I've occasionally tried other browsers, which I needed for things that wouldn't really work in KM, like downloading some videos.
Try out KeepVid or get flash. Both macros work fine.

On the extension's home page you can read, this add-on is for Firefox only... what can I say - the power of the macro language .

QuoteYogiDoes the macro need JavaScript enabled in order to work?
No, it doesn't . I forgot to mention the advantage of using this macro over visiting the page.

Modify Headers - add, modify and filter http request headers. You can modify the user agent string, add headers to spoof a mobile request (e.g. x-up-calling-line-id) and much more.
It seems to work only clicking Open Help doesn't open the help file. I guess Development is the right place for it; added webdev.kmm.
This new macro structure is awsome

disrupted, all polish characters display ok under XP when the ini is ANSI encoded - example.

localised texts display.
Only two things bother me:
1. texts in kmextman.ini slightly differ from what I posted here; obviously some polish characters got lost i.e. 'ń' is 'n', while others are ok (i.e. 'ó').
2. 'The extension:xxxhas been uninstalled successfully.' - there are no spaces between in pl version. I checked my translation and the space

I see the site and it says that I need to up one plugin. When I move the mouse pointer over the word 'Update'. it underlines the word. But that is all it does. Is it supposed to take me to a download of an update?
I've got the same problem. AFAIK the site has been launched 3-4 days ago so I guess not everything works as it should.

KM does not run lightweight contrary to your belief it does, I don't consider a browser that uses almost 100MB of ram with only two tabs open lighweight at all.
K-M uses almost 100 MB with every two sites or with particular sites? Try to disable 'Cache files in memory' option. For me the memory consumption rarely comes over 100 even after I browse for hours.
