Nothing corrupted, you just have blocked javascript  Flashblock requires javascript to work, it's mentioned in the preferences sheet F2 > content filters

Perhaps you mean this, that's what I prefer myself: rebarmenu(&Bookmarks)|&Bookmarks You can use rebarmenu to show any menu you wish (here: "Bookmarks") by left-clicking on a button. But know that this function has a little bug, the rebar-menus may be displayed outdated, especially if it's one with checkmarks. To update the view, after something was changed, one mu

QuoteJamesDMark307 had a utils.dll complete with documentation. I can no longer find his website. Disrupted has saved Mark's site on kmext, so that it's not lost: http://kmext.sourceforge.net/initiative/mark307.htm

It's that old prob again with the KM1.5 gecko engine getting outdated by now, so more and more pages with modern layout commands show display errors. All looks fine in KM1.6beta. It's quite usable really, you can try it parallel to KM154 if you want. There are some minor flaws yet, but concerning mostly the browser handling itself, while page display is definitely better than in KM154.

Ah okay, then this most likely was the "copy-paste" error that caused the "vanishing menu" bug in the beginning. Macros are very touchy when non-command-lines are found without a # comment sign  Often the error console (in Tools menu) can tell more, though not always. QuotejsnjFor location identification, you can also use the STRING item name it preceeds instead of th

Ah nice! Great James You know what's confusing me again, something in main.kmm, is why it reads as if "&OpenURL_Typed" would use not the pref "...general.openurl" but "...searchtyped.openurl" - and yet, when typing something in URLBAR and hitting enter, what's in fact executed is still "...general.openurl"?! Oh well, good thing I need not

Hmm... or perhaps you could use existing modules from main.kmm, that would simplify it a bit. Haven't tested, just in theory guess this probably works? $OpenURL=getpref(STRING,"k-meleon_QickStor.Url.".$_QickStor_UseCount); $_How="kmeleon.general.openurl"; &_OpenURL_How;

Thanks for the hint, yet that's exactly what keeps confusing me... Because on one hand building menu lines works fine just with "setmenu", also for adding, deleting or modifying single items in a menu on-the-fly, sometime during a session. What I haven't understood yet, is how to delete or modify a "whole menu" on-the-fly (popup or inline). The description sounds e

Okay, have stored it and played a little bit, just for curiosity Noticed that storing doesn't work on my machine, the URL pref stays empty. Also there's no title suggestion, as the prompt finds no URL string. I'm aware on my slightly tuned win98 there's sometimes a problem with clipboard in KM1.6beta (or was that for all people?) Anyway, would suppose the clipboard cause

Seriously, what's that command used for? If it's not for resetting, then it's back now on my virtual list of the few not-yet-riddled out commands in macrolanguage *confused*

Oh...! Thats it, thanks for finally enlightening me what that "rebuildmenu" command is here for, have been riddling for a year at least Okay, so it seems to reset the menus to the state before the macro menus are added, or at least those before the current macro is added *lightbulb* (Well, so just delete all rebuildmenu lines or add a # comment sign at the beginning, then the menu i

Yep. And perhaps you find some hint in Help>About plugins ? There's somewhere a pref to switch on the full path info. If you use FF and that video works there, perhaps it shows more plugins in that info function? In that case you could copy over the missing one into K-Meleon/plugins folder. Hmm, or perhaps Tools>Error console gives some clue...?

Quoteduffy98I get to the page that says " your download will start shortly" and the download never starts Have you clicked on that page also on "direct link", or only on "mirrors"? That should work in any case. As for the lack of automatic popup, perhaps you have blocked JS via policy? (uhm, did you recently play with 'experimental' macros, toggled stu

I'd suspect that you simply have javascript blocked? Then the automatic download (with counter) doesn't work, but there's a line with a tiny "direct link" to click on. That works also without JS.

Simply into the same folders: files in macros -> K-Meleon/macros files in scripts -> K-Meleon/scripts etc. Two of those don't exist by default yet, just drag and drop the unzipped folders into the "K-Meleon" folder. To simplify installation of extensions, try the KEM manager from http://kmext.sf.net

Ah, that's again a modification of an older version. I'd recommand to use my latest blue code, which has a working link  Perhaps one could add various versions in the macro and somehow add a variable for the user to choose his preferred one? Oh well, one could extend this quite a bit, as usual if I start playing, and the macro gets longer, and longer, and longer... ;-) Anyw

Have tried it too with KM154, and works fine on my machine as well. So it looks like some issue with javascript settings or permissions... Remember that this script line was just put together by myself, guess I mentioned already that I'm no programmer, just a normal user and bloody javascript beginner  Try this: Click Tools > Error Console Make sure that JS and KMM errors are c

Quoteme1900Haveing browsers like this 8 or 9 years later than the pc was built is a blessing. Keep up the great work. I will happily ignore the tiny bugs just so the browser can keep up with my internet service. lol. What browser or any software has no bugs? Im looking at performance. V1.6 beta is this one. Its so customizable. Hehe, welcome, sounds like KM is the right browser for you Hope y

WOW - I never even knew you can drag&drop text into input boxes! Cool! Just tried it and it works fine on win98 with KM16b2, of course 32bit. Hopefully they can fix it for x64 in a future version.

Look at the download page , next to the 1.6beta version. There's a link: "If you have problems..." Your bookmarks are not deleted just because you install a new version into an own folder. KM-versions can peacefully co-exist. You could have installed KM16beta for example into a new folder "K-Meleon16b" or such. Look into your profile folder (Edit > Configuration

Two possibilities, not sure which is better. And it's possible that in the menu both "Save As" versions will show that shortcut. BTW Shortcuts are called "Accelerators" or Accels in KM. 1) Either in this macro, then it's only active if the macro is active, but attention, in all profiles, also brandnew default profiles. Unless you place the kmm-file in your profil
