Quoteroytam1 > Let KMeleon Goanna to be the alone stable version, as it deserves. feel free to find a build that is stable enough to be a "stable version", but I'm not going to take this role. I sincerely beg your pardon if I have explained so badly my point of view. I meant to consider your fork version to be the main version alone. A fork, by default, means that there is

Hi you all, here there are some of my thoughts about KMG: 1) KMeleon Goanna is the only fork maintained by now, alone. 2) It's clearly enough that Gecko will no longer exist here. 3) KMeleon is not in the oblivion due the work of @Roytam1. 4) We are few people here and our proposals are few too. So please, consider to treat KMeleon Goanna not as a fork anymore. Also K-Meleon 75.1

Hi you all KMeleon users, I have been testing for some weeks with the same max connections and max workers per domain as latest Firefox version just to see what would happen here. Unexpectedly, I have found no problems, no CPU higher loads or waste of RAM. A better and faster browsing experience have been noticed. These good benefits are better noticeable with the current KMeleon Goanna version 2

After having some issues opening website's external links in new tabs, I have not found the single option at preferences to config how new external links should be managed on certain mouse events (e.g. left click and so forth), mainly how to set all them to open in new tabs. So if you really want to open all these available links in new tabs when clicking on them, just write at URL bar about

Please remember that to search words in the URL bar you need to enable this option: Edit > preferences > browsing > finding websites > Keyboard autosearch and finally > enable "when a typed url failed to load..." If this option is not enabled, error message is shown.

An english friend of mine said no images available at https://www.thesun.co.uk/ I have tested several UA and KM out of the box with no success. ¬_¬ By the way this version 20220122 is the best that I have tested. - better CPU usage and also less RAM consumption - improved speed loading heavy sites and videos - better feeling of stability and robustness @roytam1 thank you very much!

Quotegecko QuoteJ.G. Quotegecko I have a serious issue with Windows 11, only K-Meleon75.0 original release launches, all the Goanna mods don't launch. Any help, did anybody else test with Windows 11? Any way to debug this? Here no problem with W11. Antivirus blocking perhaps? Disable AV for a while and try it again. Windows Defender (Microsoft Defender) is disabled. UAC also. Perhaps

QuoteKris_88 Quote4td8s this tweak works fine in KM but recently the youtube "channel" pages (ex. youtube.com/c/youtubeusername) no longer display correctly in KM after clicking on a link to view a user's youtube channel (not a youtube video) Set 'general.useragent.override.youtube.com' to 'Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:42.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/60.0'

QuoteKris_88 (...) 1) In about:config page set 'general.useragent.override.google.com' to 'Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20010101 Firefox/60.0' (...). I have set it to: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:60.0) Gecko/20010101 Firefox/60.0 I meant to change rv:52.0 to 60.0 (probably it was a typo by your side).

QuoteRichard Saunders @roytam1 I left a bug report but K-Meleon on Goanna doesn't seem to load Oracle cloud authentication. I have yet to test it with Okta but I suspect it's the same. K-Meleon Goanna, New Moon and Pale Moon all get past the initial handshakes and get to the login screen, but do not proceed further. MyPal and Firefox 52.9 ESR both complete authentication. K-Meleon Gecko

Quotemy QuoteJ.G. Dear Gerry, I have worked on this for several hours and I finally solved the issue with Google images search: create new string. Change the string Preferences -> Finding Websites -> Search Engines Change https://cse.google.com/cse?cx=partner-pub-2698861478625135:3033704849&ie=UTF-8&q= and install it search All with the holidays! Nice fix indeed, thanks!

Quotefoliator It didn't help, J.G., but thanks very much for your efforts in trying to solve the problem. (...) Sorry about that. I wonder if Thunderbird can be used meanwhile, waiting for some fix for KMeleon Goanna. ¬_¬

Quotefoliator It looks like I spoke too soon, J.G., because I'm getting those "browser may not be secure" messages from Gmail again. Based on earlier problems I've had with Google on other browsers, including their own, it isn't necessarily the browser's fault; Google is at least partly to blame. Dear Gerry, I have worked on this for several hours and I finally sol

Quotefoliator QuoteJ.G. Hi, the line below should be enough, because the other line is still applied in latest version: general.useragent.override.google.com = Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:48.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/48.0 QuotefoliatorThanks. Since I have only a 32-bit machine, I could probably omit the WOW64 specification, but I suppose it doesn't matter one way or the other. Ac

Quoterod QuoteJ.G. After several tests, I have had no single problem following these four steps: 1. Download the KMeleon Goanna file from @Roytam1 link and unzip it in a safe place. 2. Rename old KMeleon-Goanna to KMeleon-Goanna-old. Close all KM instances if open. 3. Go to KMeleon-Goanna-old folder and copy&paste inside new clean installation: - KM-Goanna\browser\defaults\preferences (

Quotefoliator @roytam1, I was not able to log in to Gmail until I changed the user agents for both google.com and mail.google.com listed in about:config. Here is what worked, based on an earlier suggestion by someone else: general.useragent.override.google.com;Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:48.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/48.0 general.useragent.override.mail.google.com;Mozilla/5.0 (Windows
