Hi, adXok! Thank you for feedback! Search button is present in Twin+ - it's located next to NewTab button. But maybe you mean Search Bar? Then you can easily install it from there Just right-click the link and select 'KM extension' - it would install Search Bar and restart KM in order to new feature be working. Hi, Kandra! 1) Icon handling in KM is really buggy. No chance to really change this. Well, I don't know how to do it. 2) You system is a real storehouse of strange bugs. What is your exact config? I haven't met likes. What are your connection specs? Try to install Fasterfox extension and test different networg config presets from there. Else I don't know what to advise.

Want an alternative? You could choose it HERE I find Foxit Reader the best option but if you've got troubles there... I suppose Sumatra to be the lightest alternative. But all have their own limitations. Choose one or investigate your system in deep to make Foxit work.

The only one I've met is Google Update. Read first post here (p. 5-6) - this is about removing such a junk after installing GoogleChromeFrame. Also you are free to open Services (Start -> Run -> services.msc), find Google Update, right-click it, go to 'Log On' tab and 'Disable' the service.

OK, use it! My note refers to general use, not to Gmail in particular. Also, there is useful Auto Agentswitch extension which applies Firefox useragent every time you visit listed domains. You can edit the list adding more domains.

That items in majority are inherited from db+ builds. I don't use any of them except my own Twin-Setup and Twin-Tune. As I can see KM cannot be more responsive and slick than using Twin-Tune. Kandra, I'm sure the problem with hang-ups is the problem of your particular PC as it wasn't reported earlier. What is your system specification? The truth is that KM's engine handles javascript-rich pages relatively slow. And this process (processing JS) is real memory and CPU-hog. All what we can do - try to make some deep tuning. Hi, Kandra! Easy switching extensions (that are usually macros) is possible at Preferences->K-Meleon plugins->Macro Extension. While in Chrome tab KM uses slightly less memory than Chrome itself when opening the same page (but the difference is hardly greater than 5-10% or may be completely absent). So I recommend use Chrome tab only for incompatible pages, not as a general rule)

OK, I understood the case. Really convenient improvement! I thought this would be right to insert this addition into the main default menu config, but I don't know how to do this correctly. Though there are another way: to edit the default USER menu config as this also makes it possible to add this command in context-menu for all new profiles (= by default). So I'll do this.
