@ Roger Disregard previous post. Not your fault. I moved international version to my KM 1.5 and I get the error. I will do some testing and get a repost as quick as I can.

QuoteRogerWhen I start the PC (and the K-Meleon Loader) ist comes an error MSGbox with 5 rows. The first is this "Error in davrenadd.kmm C:\...\favrenadd.kmm at line 41 expected but found <name>" The other 4 rows are nearly the same. Whats going wrong there? How must I save the two files ANSI, UTF-8??? The lines 38 thru 42 should look like the following. _FavRenAdd_Run

@ Roger First item is that FavRenAdd works outside of KM. Information is sent to the js file and that script creates the link. KM's IE Favorites dll only reads your favorites once - when it starts. In order to see and use the new links from FavRenAdd you can use the "Edit" item in the favorites menu. That option reads the favorites in real time. The only other option is to

@Rodger When you tried the international version, did you replace both the kmm file and the js file? It seems to work OK for me. I have updated the translate function in this copy. The js file is below the kmm file FavRenAdd.kmm # K-Meleon Macros (http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php?id=MacroLanguage) # # ---------- FavRenAdd.kmm # ---------- K-Meleon Macro Language Ren

I have updated code in MacroLibrary for ASCII version. Please check and see if the translation works. I will have another look at the international version. The message seems to say there was not the right number of arguement passed to the JS file.

I am sorry I did not have the translate function correct before. I only know English so this is very new for me. @desga2 These are the lines I am going to change. There may be more here than are in the translate code. I added another menu location and I don't think we had alert box titles there before. Does it appear that I have now used the translate function correctly? alert

@ Rodger The FavRenAdd macro and js in the MacroLibrary works for ASCII only. There is another version that I developed for international use. See this thread. http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?1,81444 I would like to know if the orginal version works for you, or if not you might try the international version. I was waiting for feedback before putting in the MacroLibrary. I am so

@ desga2 and MrWoo Thanks so much for the help. I have gotten both versions, and I will try them out.

@ desga2 I think I see now. Forum does not like that word so you make a change just for posting. Is there a way to find what words the forum does not allow? The last time I tried to do that I had to remove code one line at a time and try to post after each line remove.

I am trying to get a script to run in AutoIt 3. It works but is not consistent for the OK and Cancel buttons. Sometimes they work and other times it may require several clicks before the button action happens. This is my first AutoIt script so I may be doing it all wrong. I hope someone has used this tool before and has some ideas. I cannot post the script because there is some word that i

@ desga2 A little off subject, but I have a question about AutoIt. I would like to use it from the KM macro language EXEC statement but I don't think the EXEC statement is modal. I found a "processwait" item in AutoIt, but I can't find anything to restart the K-Meleon process after my AutoIt script has run. Do you know of anything?

I am sorry that I was not clear in my statement before. I am using the not yet official version 1.5beta2. The 1.5 version is in release code now and will be official soon. It has tabs and sessions. The versions you have in the 1.1.x series have layers and groups. You do not have tabs and sessions.

QuoteMrWooI have not seen the preference you talk about. Where is it? SESSIONS is an item on the main menu. It is just to the left of TOOLS.

@ disrupted Thanks. 8.3 names did the trick. Runs fine now. When put in MacroLibrary there should be note about this or this question will come up forever. @ desga2 Interesting to know that spaces accepted when double quotes used. Wonder if I will remember that the next time the subject comes up. Maybe I need to begin my own personal FAQ system.

With the new KM 1.5 version, the ability to restart in the previous session is built in. Try SESSIONS - OPTIONS, check the box for open the following session at startup and select previous session from the dropdown.

@ disrupted I am having a problem seeing anything in the viewer. Does the viewer program require that I drop back to the 8.3 naming standard for the location of my cache? I am running under XP SP3. C:\\Program Files\\k-meleon15b2\\Profiles\\tufvx7du.default\\Cache is the location of my cache. When the viewer comes up, I can browse to that location and see the cache just fine, but I have

@ra I cannot create the problem. I used 1.5RC and had one window with two tabs which was set to two thirds of the screen. I also had another window with three tabs which was maximized. I exited KM from the menu in the window which was two thirds the screen and then re-started KM. Loaded previous session and one window with two tabs was two thirds the screen and the window with three tabs w

Do you perhaps have a firewall that you need to let know that KM has permission to go to the net?

I looked and k-meleon COM, NET, and ORG were taken. I think k-meleon.info was available for $9.95 US dollars. Is that a one-time charge or a monthly fee?

I agree about the cookies. I use "Cookie Monster" to handle mine. It will handle three versions of KM plus the rare use of IE. I don't think I ever used the older method to control the other items.

#ndebord I don't know about the toolbar, but there are setting for many of these items within preferences. Try EDIT - PREFERENCES - PRIVACY & SECURITY. There are tabs within which cover the items you noted.

@ ndebord After a whole bunch of trial and error, I found that the "menu" name to put in the setmenu statement can be found in k-meleon\defaults\settings in a file called menus.cfg. For me that is C:\Program Files\k-meleon15b2\defaults\settings\menus.cfg. If you are looking to use one of the menu items already on the main menu remember that the underscore such as in Tools will be
