you're looking for window diversion: if kmeleon's behaviour isn't changed then it's a profile folder user/rights preventing writing to prefs but not a gui problem remember if you're using the loader, you'll have to close it and restart kmeleon for changes to be saved

i don't believe that's doable because it depends on the form tag being used..some sites use different forms where the js will have no affect, i'll check it out nonetheless you can also use the autofillform extensionfor generic form filling but not site specific available at kmext.sf.net but not sure under which category

yes, i noticed the cookies after a 10 upgrade..i'm not sure which version. in windows 98 with another version there are still no flash cookies but perhaps i haven't tested enough there. there's a simple extension on kmext to easily delete them..i think under privacy

yes, all false positives, check the disclaimer: http://kmext.sourceforge.net/disclaimer.htm the problem is in heuristic scans which is common now with most antiviruses. those scans don't really scan any upx binaries so they don't know what they really do and the antiv devs decided if we can't scan it then it's a virus. this is a very dumb way of handling scans as it cause

some logitech mice have this problem with mfc applications, although you'dn't notice it or it's less annoying in regular apps than a browser naturally. there's a kplugin to address this issue http://kmext.sourceforge.net/initiative/mark307_files/lwheel-0.0.3.zip extract the dll in kmeleon\kplugins folder and restart kmeleon (kplugins folder not the plugins folder) if

the np 9 series is not very stable and occasionally crashes. try using the np plugin directly from the kmeleon plugins folder instead of routing it through the registry first try this 10 version that should work on 9x http://kmext.sourceforge.net/mplugs/NPSWF32-10.0.45.2.zip extract the dll directly in the kmeleon\plugins folder and restart kmeleon if the above doesn't work or giv

it could be the plus setup comparing your 98 serial key against the cd key, maybe it won't install if they don't match. you don't really need the setup to extract the saver though, in the plus folder..you should see a compressed cab 'plus98' this contains all the screensavers and other files just extract the scr files from it, the wild animals should be there i

i don't think abp performance would differ on 1.5.x versions. it could be related to the subscription itself..when it got updated, it might have gotten too big making kmeleon slower. disable adp or uncheck the subscrption temporarily and check if it's launching faster..if not, try different abps and see if it gets better latest official version (1.0.2) http://adblockplus.org/down

it's the same flashblock embedded now in the kmeleon jar. this page is for km 0.8 because flashblock wasn't included and had to be installed manually. 0.9 and 1.0 included flashblock by default but as separate jar using that same method described on the wiki page. js is required to disable flash while allowing active toggle without the need to reload the page or enabling all flash co

both files indicate that all components were registered successfully so have no precise idea why km is failing to start.. the only thing is a corrupted exe which is very unlikely to happen try this and see if it works, completely uninstall kmeleon, including the profile folder and reinstall it again.. not that it should matter since you are an administrator but just in case install in a differ

that's weird, it doesn't seem to register components fully..are you sure you have full rights for the kmeleon folder? what is the path where kmeleon is installed? e.g. c:\ programmes\kmeleon? did you install kemeleon using setup exe or manual install from 7z? also can you attach both your compreg.dat and xpti.dat using the 'attach a file' link in this forum, i want t

yes, it does sound like kernelx related..not sure how that happened cause i don't know anything about kernelex but that taskmanager dialogue is located inside kernel32.dll which it replaces. kernel32 98 is small on dialogues and only has 2 ones, the end task dialogues and error message on program crash, all the rest of win98se dialogs are handled with other libraries and explorer.exe shell

for some reason registering components got corrupted on first run. try this: go to folder where kmeleon was installed. inside kmeleon folder, you will find a folder called components, open components folder and find 2 files: compreg.dat xpti.dat delete those 2 files- kmeleon will make new good ones now run kmeleon if you can't find compreg.dat in components folder, then

from what i've read, some of their extensions will indeed use the same widget frame..so they are working closely with w3c. opera has been working with them for a while now.. both opera and mozilla have pushed them into abandoning the strict xhtml 2 for more lax html5. xhtml2 is technically dead now. search for ian hickson, he works for both wc3 and opera and possibly why opera has much of
