I hate software that automatically sets itself as default. I never used this option even with software which only offers the option to be set as default. Using W2K I never had to edit/add or change any MIME type in my browsers be it K-Meleon or Opera. All associations of MIME types I make are on the OS level and they apply to all applications making use of those MIME types.

@ zenbones Make sure NPSWF32.dll is located in K-Meleon's plugins folder. I have no AdobeFlash installed. I've just extracted from the AdobeFlash install package the above .DLL into K-Meleon's plugins folder.(did the same with Opera aswell) Works fine with YouTUbe flash videos (.swf) Just tested the BBC link you gave and it works fine as well: Maks sure that JavaScript
