I know this configuration is not suitable in a professional environment but it is for me. This way I (and they) can, for example, use K-meleon without touching anything if I boot the XP installation (and sometimes old XP saved my life). I use portable programs whenever I can because I ended sick of reconfiguring things in reinstalls/dual boot or just logging in as admin.

First things first. Thanks, @roytam1. QuoteYogi Out of curiosity - what modified files have you there, I mean files which can't be placed in the Profiles folder? I have 4 profiles (for me, my wife and my kids) and I add things to adblock.css now and then. Not sure if I changed something more in the past (I use K-Meleon since years). Quotehermes As example, You can quite use any scripting language for this purpose (Shell Script, Visual Basic Script, JScript, MS HTA... etc.). You can load files by means of wget or curl (yes, for Windows). I think I'll use a simple .bat and curl to download the .7z. It should verify that K-Meleon is not running etc. but I was not sure of what files should I overwrite hence my question.

Thanks for the new version. I'd like to create a Windows task to update KMGoanna. I usually overwrite all files and folders from the .7z except kplugins folder (because of modified dlls) and av*.dll (I use the FFmpeg LAV filters). Then I empty every profile startupCache folder. Is this right? I confess I don't understand the "delete browser folder" thing but this way it see

Thanks for the new version, @roytam1. I ran into a problem with text boxes. When you open Find (Ctrl-F), write a word and mark Highligt, you cannot put the cursor inside the highlighted text. I was writing an answer in superuser.com and wanted to change a word to another deleting some characters inside it. I highlighted the word and couldn't make the change until I quit the highlightin

Sorry for the alarm. Only a (maybe bad) joke. But I admit some concern. (OK, I don't like it at all.) To examine this thoroughly, another thread, I agree... but I'd bet that many developers don't want anything to do with Microsoft and are beginning to get a move on.

All versions of K-Meleon from 76RC (Goanna builds included) show ALL the downloads as "Failed" (be it or not) and therefore don't offer some options in contextual menu as "Open containing folder", for example.

I attach a fixed version of es-ES.jar\browser\downloads\downloads.dtd, which lacked 6 lines that was breaking downloads history window (Ctrl-J) since 76RC inclusive. I added a translated version of these lines from another locale and tidied the file up with comments from correspondent one in fr.jar. To avoid repeating, the complete explanation is here: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.p

Quoteroytam1 Quotecdlvcdlv There is a problem that was annoying me since long time about not seeing the history of downloads. I thought it was some config option I messed up and I was unable to find. Long story short, lately I ended finding that it was a bug that affected to Spanish language GUI (my native language) since KM 76. I explain it at: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?19,1457

When GUI Language is set to Spanish (F2/GUI Appearance/General/Language), downloads history (Ctrl-J) appears empty. Downloads are not lost, they are simply hidden ("No hay descargas.", it says) and reappear selecting another language. When you change languages (to Spanish) while the downloads window is open the list remains, but if you close/reopen is empty. This worked fine in KM 75

Thanks, sir, you're great. Fastest, lightest browser and backwards compatible. And now updated. I have some minor issues with the useragent in yahoo mail. Where should I post them? Every new build makes my day. Keep the good work up.
