Quotesiria Not likely, but no other ideas and just in case: Those 3 prefs are necessary acc. to LastPass support Can be checked on about:config network.cookie.cookieBehavior = 0 network.http.sendRefererHeader = 2 network.http.sendSecureXSiteReferrer = true This macro checks only at browser start if they are enabled globally, then tells the user if not. If by any chance they are blocked

Thanks guys.... Hmm the double log in does not seem to be a LP setting. I have unticked all the 'require the master password for' settings. Re the connection error, since it is actually updating LP.com, I am wondering if it is possible for it to be a cert error. Or maybe its a non-fatal patial validation error which is not trapped. I note pocket seems intolerant of connection c

Issue started in this topic: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?4,142553 Thanks siria - Lite macro worked and does most of what I need Just a couple of queries.... If I log in to my lastpass lite, then while still seemingly logged in, ask to access the vault via the menu item, I find I have to login again on the main site. Is this intended or am I doing something dumb? Also tr

Congrats on the KMeleon 76 RC2 Pro version, working great here. I have been trying to get Lastpass bookmarklets working, but cannot. I doing so I noted that only the first 1024-ish characters of a bookmark URL string was being stored. THe Lastpass javascipt strings are around 2043. This is presumably the problem. Is there a setting to increase the max length of bookmark URL string? An

Hi Guys Well 1.8 is looking really peacful, and running really fast and stably here. Using it with Loader, so loading is instant. A joy to use a simple effective tool with such low resource demands. As well as the praise, I will report something not working, but I guess that is expected and understood, Anyway: - IE history extension seem to cause KM not to produce it's GUI. Instead it

In answer to the topic question My wife was using KM constantly until a year ago under XP and I still use the 1.6 Beta for mainstream browsing from time to time when get fed up with IE/FF/etc bloatware. I also use it for software testing as well. Only problem was that some web pages would not load. So I have great hopes for this new version... excellent news. And thanks very much! Mou

QuoteJujuLand I think 7zFM.exe is't the right program to use. For kmPackager, I use 7za.exe which is a line command for 7z, and it works. I don't know if it's installed with 7z, look for 7z folders, and set the path to it. A+ Thanks very much JuJuland, Tried this but no go I am afraid. Wondering if the 'utils' macros need any extra actions to install. They are

Quoteguenter 3.) Yes You are right that is where they go, do not forget that You have to delete ./components/compreg.dat & xpti.dat after You added an xpt. They will be rewritten including the new info about Your xpt. Thanks yes worked this out from another post of yours I think! Now strangely these .dats are not being recreated. So I guesss I may need to re-install KM, if there's not a

Thanks very much for all your help, and the welcome. Just a greying 4GL programmer i'm afraid - nothing up to date! Anyway, what I was trying to do was port an extension which does deep SSL checking - the extension is verification engine www.vengine.com from Comodo. (I'm a Comodo forum mod). What the apps does is give various indications on level of security when you access an

Thanks very much for your help. Sorry still cannot get it to work. Have inserted the following line in Jartester.kmm, before the general section: $_7Zip_Path="\"C:\\Program Files\\7-Zip\\7z.exe"; This is the correct path. I copied your syntax in the file. I used your installer to install it the tool. Still lists no .xul files, thought they are there in the .jar

I cannot make jartester find the xul files in any jar file, including those for extensions already installed in k-meleon. The dialog that is ussposed to list the xul files just lists nothing. I have 7-zip installed on the default path (Program files\7-zip). Under help it says to set the 7-zip path (of not default) using atl-shift-j, but nothing happens when I do this. Jarfiles and manifests

How about building on K-meleon's ability to store IE favorites, and make it able to store and use IE histories. This would have two immediate advantages: - IE users could try out K-meleon with less hassle, or use both browsers simulaneously, opening a wider market to K - K-Meleon histories would instantly be indexable by all the major desktop serach engines Just a thought. THis would

Any ideas how you can get destop search (Google, Copernic etc) retrieval of K-meleon history/page cache. Have managed to get some retrieval by using a batch file to copy K-meleon history to Firefox history (which destop spider know about), and then indexing that. But limitations are: - little more than URL indexed, not retrieved pages. (With ie you can direct the spider at the page cache whic

.mht format seems to be in the process of being adopted as the standard way of saving a web page as a single file. Could K-Meleon support this please? Request from someone else can be found in the 1.5a1 thread. Many thanks Mouse

My history file was left 12 hours with no updates. Could be that it saves on closed window - maybe one was open with no UI representation - can happen with IE so I suppose could with K-. However it did seem to need loader closed as well. If I notice this behavoir again I will make another post. My version is 1.1.2

May be just me doing something wrong, but K- seems only to save to history.dat when you have closed all instances (inc. that created by loader). This seems to me to risk history loss if the browser or machine crashes. Maybe then, to prevent performance impacts, an option to save history every n minutes? Mouse

Thanks a lot, if I have a spare moment soon I'll have a go! Re copernic - you are a braver man than I! Everything seems to work OK re indexing now, so I think I'll let sleeping dogs lie! Best wishes Mouse

Thanks Guenter Will try your firekeeper extension - many thanks - wonder if one can make it minimise to taskbar or sthg. Glad I found K-Mellon, unfortunate that it is not more widely known. Copernic still working OK. Might try sharing a history file between K- and Firefox. Bit nervous it will cause trouble if K- or F assume exclusive access. Mouse

Earthlink (www.earthlink.com) antiphishing filter is an independently maintained filter, which is available for firefox. However you cannot try it out with K-Meleon, as it must be downloaded from a Firefox menu. Maybe worth looking at an integration to add anti-phishing to K-meleon? Mouse

Just found that K-meleon appears to work reasonably well with Clipmate (a windows clipboard enhancer www.clipmate.com), even though not listed as supported. It does seem to pass on the meta-data that clipmate uses to paste URLs etc in with clips. Presumably this is due to firefox/mozilla compatibility Mouse

Just managed to make K-Meleon work with Copernic. Bit of a cludge, but probably ok if you are not using Firefox as a mainstream browser as well as K-Meleon. (Suggestion made on 'at your own risk basis') 1. Install firefox as well as K-Meleon 2. Turn on indexing for firefox in Copernic 3. Create scheduled task to copy history.dat from K-meleon subdirectory to Firefox sub-director
