A weird thing happened today - I went to open KM and nothing happened, even the icon had disappeared from my launcher and been replaced by a generic windows one. So I went to my file manager and there was k-meleon.exe weighing in at 2k and with the generic windows icon. Hi, I just clumsily deleted a policy from PM (there should be a confirmation message when you try to delete...) - where are the files situated so that I can find a backup in my general KM backup ? Please ?

I was wondering if it would be a good idea if when you add a new site to PM then PM reloads that page automatically - what I mean is that as things are now when you're on a page that won't load correctly because of javascripts etc, you add that page to PM then you have to reload the page manually. So automatically (as an option) would be good ... !

I had the same problem ! The menu entry is called : Menu>Configuration>Extra Config Once in Preferential do a search for NoScript - there are a lot of entries. However after doing that I still had to do a manual search for bits and pieces here and there in the folders. I can't answer for the rest, but can say that Policy Manager is much better than NoScript.

You should have a close tab button somewhere on a toolbar, probably next to the new tab button : right-click on the close tab button and you will have Undo Last Closed in the context menu - or use Ctr-Alt+Z...

Yup, thanks for that - I had Preferential installed but had forgotten it (on top of which the menu entry is called "Extra config" which didn't remind me of anything and it took me a while to find it again). Anyway, I cleared out all traces of NS and now PM runs perfectly at start-up...!

Yes disrupted - it's the profile thing, I looked in pref.js and there are effectively bits left over from when I disabled NoScript. By the way, does the KEM completely uninstall extensions ? Thanks again for your help.

I set global policy to disable js and my trusted sites to enable js, however whenever I restart KM the global policy reverts to js enabled and I have to change it again each time - is this normal ?

Sorry I didn't reply before to add my thanks for the extra help but I was away until yesterday. Anyway, same problem here as for jfk - everything works : the menu entry, the toggle, the warning .wav and the statusbar message but the sound won't change from one card to the other !!! So I reckon it must be a registry error but I can't see where or what.
