Faves: to my knowledge that button has always worked that way in the past too, EXCEPT if you changed it somewhere along the way Or used my classiria skin, which opens the menu by left click by default (hardcoded in toolbars.cfg, as described) To get a really clean TEST installation it would be safest to use the portable version and just unzip it. With setup versions I'd never quite trust

QuoteNitroloboK-Meleon 1.5 had been as a useful tool, now outdated. Nitrolobo, it's not outdated "now", just because now there's finally a new stable version. 1.5 was outdated since many years! Personally my online machine is win98se, and if you install kernelex it can run very nicely KM1.6beta2.6 (JamesD version), which is already lightyears ahead of KM1.5! And as a fall

John it seems to me exactly like the workaround in KM1.7, you can simply replace all your codes with open(javascript:...). Hmm, thinking about, not even that is now guaranteed anymore, have recently read something that Mozilla forbid that too in some newer version, to run a script from URLbar etc.!! Just hope this can be workedaround by our devs. But injectjs has never autoexecuted itself from

It silently crashes when I right-click on the home page (Vista offline). Of course, as was to be expected, I went crazy again with injectJS, because not only it needs manual toggling js on/off again, but it has a whole new evil quirk now: sometimes it did work and sometimes not, regardless if JS was blocked or not! First I thought, oh no, it's as bad as KM1.7, grmpf... Then Oh - but it do

AAARGH.... you're right, it only works in KM1.6, not 1.7, so probably not in KM74 either! In fact I noticed some time back, while struggling with my stylescriptia macro that some js-codes in KM1.7 needed such an additional function-wrap around it, or didn't work at all. In KM1.6 all was fine without it. Houston... Ah yes, and with other scripts it was exactly the other way arou

Well it does work to show definitely more images that otherwise I couldn't access at all For Bing there might be a workaround via UA, but doesn't help everywhere, e.g. not here - this needs your script to work: www.piper.de/buecher/neuerscheinungen And hey, there's no obligation to use hndlDocs if you prefer to use some other code instead. Just injectJS(code) can use the compl

Just a thought: perhaps decide automatically with a counter? If <30 pics => show ALL If 30+ pics => ask user Would the <img> macro show the same as the native macro? Because the native one eliminates duplicates...

That is absolutely weird. Could it be something with your browser, or could it have to do with a renamed 7z file?? Anyway, try if you can download the attachment from the direct post here, at the end: http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?10,129652 With mediafire I in turn have probs, not possible with js blocked and I hate it to open such sites all doors wide open You know we can also p

QuoteJohnHellI was going to edit your macro to avoid you some work and it replied: "Permission denied: links to files in the forum are only allowed from the forum itself." Huh?? Not sure what you're saying - can you not download it? Just tested again and it works without any probs, since of course this is an inside-forum-link... Or what else....? *riddling* @Mods: can anyone

So many get lost in other parts of the forum, buried between long discussions. Perhaps this can become a little list for those random and often sponaneous ones, also too tiny ones for an own thread. Feel free to add more yourself! By no means complete: --------- KMEXT-archive for KM74 Some macros/extensions need to be modified for KM74. (Not complete / Check the readme files and info te

QuoteJamesD Are you using the FireFox compatible user agent string and do you have Javascript enabled? Looks like in the future the next question will have to be: Have you also tried *without* the FireFox compatible UA?

So many tips get lost and buried in the mass. Let's try to collect them somewhere WELCOME PAGE from Help-menu does not appear? In the portable KM74.0 a pref is missing if the language was never switched. Click F2>GUI and there on any language to reset it (also click on english if needed, even if its already set) GMX Mail: Get only the mobile version after Login? Maximize your win

Great! I like the hint about having to enable PrivBar and MouseGestures Missing just a hint about Skins (or simply replace the gruesome gray default background with any user-pic)... and a hint about macros/extensions... found in Extensions-subforum, in kmext.sf.net, and a few on the neglected page kmeleon.sourceforge.net/wiki/MacroLibrary... ah yes and to right-click, right-click, right-click w

Yep. It keeps amazing me that *without* FF we get besser results more and more often. Also have read in some FF discussion that they intentionally get worse code by some servers!

No mystery John. Now dig also a bit deeper into the second post If it's gray or not depends just from the UA, and that depends on what the server delivers, not from menu structure. In macrolanguage, and certainly also in this case here, a menu command is gray if its definition explicitely says to appear gray, IF condition XY then gray. If by "same ID" you mean you're also

QuoteJohnHellI told him I didn't care as I used a macro. The master of macros, Siria, could adapt if she whises to make it a standard macro http://kmeleonbrowser.org/forum/read.php?2,123209 LOL!! The clueless NONmaster of macros struggled rather hard and kept wishing you had posted the complete thing yourself, far bigger master of scripts! But finally it's done, if anyone wants

Thanks for the script! Very handy really. Actually just lately I had serious probs myself with getting access to background images, so did now as you wished and embedded it in a macro Struggled again with much trial&error, until I finally studied word for word your detailed instructions, should have done it first, hehe. There is one catch, it lists ALL images on a page, not just backgro

Yogi, it's the same in KM1.6, but only if FF is in the UA string. If you remove FF in KM74 default string, does it work then? Because by default it is always appended, by the pref in about:config "compatMode.Firefox". You have to check if that's off when testing.

Yogi, he said on Bing. That's right on the start page, but background image is only delivered if JS is enabled.

Favorites and Hotlist are very uncomfortable out of the box, could really need some handling improvements Bookmarks are much better, but still in need (e.g. new users are led to think there were not even any search function) QuotetimochAlso when I click on the favorites star icon, it always opens Internet explorer instead of the favorites imported to km. IE?? That really cannot be. Could it

Guys it's okay, consider GMX as solved, and KM is innocent. It's in the other thread (Some weird mixture of proxy/old profile and an "intelligent" website that delivers mobile/desktop versions decided by windowsize (!) as JohnHell figured out. Good to know for future users with the same prob)

crazy - crazier - gmx And it still continues?! Ah no, thanks, they seem a hopeless case, I give up. But since lots of people have gmx accounts, perhaps post your solution(s) into the beginning of the very first post for them to find it quicker?

QuoteJohnHellDepending of the browser viewport size (heightxwidth) it shows the mobile version or the desktop version. EDIT: by the way mine is 1024x768 1008x674 (viewport, not screen size). Less is equal to mobile. What a dumb system Oh, another "clever" thing I would never have guessed - Hehe, and love your icon! Way too little phorum icons here, pity.

QuoteYogiKönnte es sein daß die Portable und die Install-Version unterschiedliche Browserkennung haben? No sorry, it was just a misunderstanding, he had an old manual UA. Have deleted my post above. guenter, wenn ich wütend bin hört sich das anders an. Das war nur leicht geschockt, auch wenns am Ende auf einem Missverständnis beruhte.

I've started wondering if it's some intentional thing perhaps from gmx? That it depends from the account or provider or whatever, which version customers get. No idea. Anyway, another little test: If the fresh clean portable profile doesn't help, go onto your palemoon profile folder and copy the prefs.js, paste and overwrite with it the prefs.js in the KM profile. Just in a test

QuoteKM2005siria, I double-checked and KM's FF UA is 2010; KM default is 2014. --- I'm meaning the FF UA is the one chosen from the UA selection tool in KM. Oops, somehow I've overlooked that or it just didn't settle in *blush* Sorry! So at least this mystery is clear, the old date was just an old string in your profile's UA-list. The images are a bit too tiny to decipher, but looks like imageshack accepts all sorts of manual sizes KM74 version: So that's what the mobile version looks like, what they claim would get older browsers too, like KM1.6 With the only prob being, that in real 1.6 it looks completely different and broken, so they deliver to older browsers a simplified page but with a code that only newe
