Quotedugbugoffice2 I run all 3+ on my PC, but you can only run only 1 type at one time. ... command line option: -new allows running more than 1 instance at a time providing they use separate profiles. http://two.xthost.info/kmeleon/lizard/commands.html#l_cmdlineopt

QuoteMatera the Mad Because, my fine-eyed friend, not all webpages are created with the same friggin font size. I'd still have to adjust them. *rolls eyes* Page Display - Fonts 1.choose your minimum font size along with your preferred font. 2.uncheck allow documents to use other fonts. Font Toggler extension is a good accompaniment to those settings for the few times you need to s

QuoteFred The accelerator keyboard shortcuts cannot be edited from the menu Edit/Configuration/Accelerators but must be edited manually. The menu Edit/Configuration/Accelerators opens the file /defaults/profile/accel.cfg or better the respective file in the created profile, which is the wrong file. You can manually go to the file /defaults/settings/accel.cfg and edit this file the way you

Quotepstar got it,caps, then what does rebarmenu.dll do? thx! Its primary purpose is to allow the main menu bar to be displayed as a toolbar allowing you to drag it below or alongside other toolbars, otherwise the menu bar is a fixed immovable bar atop the browser. It does not need to be enabled for the right-click button menu feature to work. It DOES need to be enabled to give buttons left-cl

It's a waste of browser UI space IMO, but many still prefer the separation. 2 are available as extensions/kplugins. The more complete is search bar plus a.k.a searchbar ext about 7 extensions down on the page. Try that one. http://kmext.sourceforge.net/kplug.htm For more search enhancements you can also try Search+

Yes, it either has to be installed or the KM setdefault exe must be used for Windows to recognize it and add it to the list.

Yes, KM has issues setting and keeping itself as default for whatever reasons. Best to set it as default through windows directly. Should be available in xp sp3 as default programs or set default programs in your start menu. I'm on win7 writing this but I have seen it in xp sp3. Just checked my xp sp3 PC: Start Menu - Set Program Access and Defaults - Configuration

Filed a bug on it a couple days ago http://kmeleon.sourceforge.net/bugs/viewbug.php?bugid=1323 It's inconsistent. On the page I gave as an example in the bug report right now I have no problem undoing autoscroll, but I usually do have problems on that page. I think it's usually heavily-coded pages so to speak with JS, flash etc...

OK. Thanks for testing James. Must be something about my particular Win7 setup. Doubt it has anything to do with 32b vs 64b.

I keep the pref set to band for my personal use since my tab bar & minimal toolbars are on on the same line so to speak, but found this out while testing tabs at the bottom and trying to open a multi-tabbed session. OS is Win7 Home Premium 64bit. I'm not quite sure why the vtop & top values were created since they were always achievable by dragging, but it happens with tabs on bottom

This only applies to my Win7 64 PC. Can't reproduce on WinXP3. Browser settings the same on both OS's. kmeleon.tabs.position = vtop, top or bottom Ctrl T to open new blank tabs in succession. Browser crashes for me after the 7th new tab. Also happens when restoring sessions w/multiple tabs. Can any other Win7 users reproduce or is this unique to my Win7 PC? This does not happen

Needed 1.6b's toolbars.dll for this mix to work on Win7 64. Crashes on startup otherwise.

QuoteRobMonty1987 Sorry to revive an older thread, but I feel I have related news to share. I only recently discovered K-meleon, but I am already in love with it. There are a few querks like not being compatible with major sites like Youtube etc, but my love for it overcame this. The REAL problem I had was that it auto-completed text for typed URLs, but not for bookmarks, --- I would like v

The stats don't appear to be working at the moment, but these are where the download numbers would be: http://sourceforge.net/projects/kmext/files/ Page takes a lil time to load, give it a second. I have to double-check w/disrupted via email where the exact location is to upload the files so they can be counted there because the latest LastPass Lite I uploaded to kmext isn't liste

Quotesiria --- A general KEM question for skins, since sometimes I create buttons too: Should the button path in the ini-file contain the folder (1=default\buttonname.bmp), or is "default" assumed by default, since logically it's always that folder? Are the button pics removed when uninstalling a macro, with or without folder in ini? (yeah okay, some day I will install and try KEM

Quotesiria Hmm, noticed there are three "Add xy bookmarklet TO" now. Just trying to find a better translation for that semi-sentence, my last one is just gruesome, but for grammar reasons need to know how would that continue, add it "to" what..? Yes, there are 3 now since v1.0. The previous version sniffed the bookmarklet links for specific words to determine which bookmarkl

Quotendebord I'm curious about who is using what. Currently my interactive choices are OutPost Firewall 2009 (free), Avast 6.0.1125, MalwareBytesPro 1.50.1.1100. Standalone I have HitmanPro 3.5, Pavark AntiRootkit 1.0.8, Rootkit Revealer, Spybot S&D, SysClean & TDSS Rootkit. 2 machines. Older w/XP & a few Linux Distros. Laptop w/Win7. @Gaelle Since you are not English, can you check your bookmarklets for me to see if they contain the following words within the javascript text? If they don't, then I've found the problem. "AutoLogin" "AutoFill" "Fill_Forms"

QuoteGaelle I use XP so is it a spelling error ? sorry i didn't understand your last answer because of my poor english... Thanks I really don't know what the problem is yet. It's obviously not a win2k issue. I'm glad you're able to make it work through your user.js file. But I'll have to try and see if I can figure out why setting the bookmarklets to the prefs fi

Quotesiria Check for spelling errors: the KEM files spell it "LastPastLite" and the kmm is actually spelled "LastPassLite" ;-) That's probably the reason why KEM can't find the file for editing, but about that rights stuff I have no clue about. Yes. Thx. Noticed that shortly after the other poster mentioned the problem w/KEM. It is the reason, but waiting to update

QuoteGaelle Hello, yes, at first it didn't work, same thing as pjpw2320 so i wrote in user.js, i just follow the instructions portable km 1.60 Hmm....OK. Which Windows OS are you using? I ask because I tested on XP & 7 w/o problems. pjpw2320 was using Win2k. I'm just wondering if you're using the same to see if that's a factor or not.

Quoteprivy Dear Moderator(s), I suggest removing the profile.ini contents posted in this thread on April 03, 2011, it's irrelevant and the browsing history/links it contains could be trouble. It was actually his prefs.js file. I doubt much trouble could have come from those links but I removed them anyway since they were irrelevant as you mentioned.
