Well, as I can see, SF 'hacks' only abandoned projects, which developers decide to move out of this site. Active (on SF) projects could be involved into 'monetizing' only after their agreement. So if KM will leave - than it would be 'hacked and packed' with more probability, than if we stay.

I'm not going to compare XP and Vista in terms of system load. XP is way lighter. But you can tweak Vista (if there is no other option) even after install. I had at least one case of hardcore optimization of Vista on the laptop with 1Gb of RAM - and I've got it working smooth. (Disclaimer: I don't like Vista anyway)

The point is that new skin system assumes you can set any height for toolbars taking in account that ALL toolbars would be sized so. Dorian asks about this during the early development.
