When reading your UA-string, such a website gives your corresponding version of page. Pages differ in some content, or sometimes page simply refuses to work if proper UA not found. So the rendering differs.

dugbugoffice2, one note: emptying webappsstore.sqlite and setting it to read-only may cause some websites not working. For example, Twitter. You need to make webappsstore.sqlite writable, run such a site and only then set this file to read-only (not clearing content). Such a way makes Twitter (or other sites, which need to write into webappsstore.sqlite) working properly and at the same

1.5.4 is outdated. Real newest build is 1.6beta2.5 by JamesD from my signature. Try it.

There are numerous similar threads here. The Web isn't changeless. New techniques are coming, but K-Meleon still uses outdated engine. General advice is to change old 'stable' 1.5.4 to 1.6 beta (which can be considered as new 'stable release') or even 1.7 alpha. Try one of the portable builds (some of them are listed in my signature) - they do not have problems w

The fast speed is a downside of limited compatibility as both are there due to the outdated Gecko-engine of 1.5.4. The 1.6 and 1.7 branch are less outdated and more compatible, so you need to upgrade (or just use 1.6 and your current version side by side). Try one of the portable builds from my signature. No need to install - just unpack in some new folder and use. KM-16-S2014 is a hybri

Pan Tadeusz! The general rules for all the cases of the pages not working properly are: 1) use one of the latest builds of KM. There are 4 'personal branches' of renewed KMs - betas by JamesD, Fred's hybrid builds, db+ assemblies by dugbugoffice and my K-Meleon Twin. Every 'branch' is represented in my signature. Try to download one of these portable builds and b

I have no problems there (all 3 sites) with my KM Twin or any build from my signature. Try them. Also you may need to change default user agent (Tools -> User Agent -> ...) to something modern like FireFox 15 or at least Firefox 3.6.28. These UA-strings are built-in with KM Twin so try using it. This do not require to delete your current installation and install new. KM Twin and a

4) Unpack KM Twin not into system folder (like Program Files) but in some else one, where you have all access rights as user. Portable builds are very convenient because of this. And you don't need to find leftovers through all PC when deleting KM portable build like Twin.

What is wrong there? Could you add a screenshot with comments? What version of KM do you use? With any KM from my signature site seems to be rendered properly. (But I haven't any Android device) Try to use latest available KM build like 1.6beta2dot5 or K-Meleon Twin or 1.7a...

I cannot exactly understand what you are trying to do. KM bookmarks are organized differently than IE Favorites - you cannot open them by clicking on file (Favorites are the folder where every bookmark is saved as file - while Bookmarks are the single html-file bookmarks.html which contains all the list of bookmarks). To move bookmarks from one KM-installation to another you need find old b

This is VIRUS issue, I think. Download DrWeb CureIt and run it. If no download is possible from your PC - do it from some another one. The full checkup will take a time but you'll be sure about was it infection or not. And after checkup and cure procedure you system will be clean (with 99,9% probability).

Try using portable version like one from my signature. Download and unpack it into ane folder you DO have rights of full access to. No installation needed. No Program Files or other system folders.

I've touched this earlier but now I want to know more. I have noted that on some Win7 systems (maybe x64 is a clue?) some of KM accels disappear from the menu and do not work. I copy working portable Twin with all accels working to the new PC - and voila! - some are now missed. Now I have the next hotkeys disappeared: Ctrl+S Ctrl+N Ctrl+T Ctrl+O Ctrl+G (Google it) Ctrl+Alt+Z

I think it's easy. Just find all occurencies of 'color' in text-config files of KM (menus, etc.) and change it to 'colour'and 'favorites' to 'favourites'. May be 'behaviour' and 'grey' could be met in there. That's all. If you worry about different 'system messages' - just take en_GB locale from Firefox 3.5.1

Also it can be broken download - your had reported not only one problem so I guess you have not all files unpacked successfully from the dpwnloaded package. Try to redownload and reunpack KM. Another option is to download latest KM Twin which is based on KM 1.6 beta 2.5 by JamesD.

I'm going on testing new bookmarking services to include the best of them in new Twin. Now I've added some more sites in my bookmarklet collection. 1. Listango.com Another one service to bookmark your pages fast. Nothing special but clean interface and options to star bookmarks as well as share them via Twitter or e-mail. NB! You need to set up one trick to have Listango boo

Never give up! You didn't give us enough info to help you. Some data will be useful - what KM build you are trying to use? Could you add a screenshot of your problematic User Interface? It will make things more clear.

My Twin works properly on Google maps with that doll. This is the case of your personal config. Sometimes it's characteristic for KM - when I copy the same working portable installation to different PCs, I can get strange effects like - for example - some inactivated hotkeys. They don't work on new PC and even disappear from menus, but the same copy works pretty good being copied

I think it's just a glitch of toolbars when they are misplaced at startup. Go to View -> Toolbars -> Lock Toolbars and uncheck this item (if in KM Twin - simply press F12). Try to move toolbars, dragging them by the holders that left sides of them turned into. If no success - then you are probably missing MS Visual C++ files. Try to install them (thanks to JujuLand) and restart

Is your old PC available? (There are no magicians here, I think ) If yes, simply go to your profile folder (you can find its address in the Preferences->Privacy&Security->Cache tab where it is shown as 'Cache folder') and find file bookmarks.html - that's it! Just copy it to you new KM installation in the same location (working profile folder).
