Enaitz; I agree - possibly because we read much English and You can always improve a good translation / the first translator gets the meaning accros but is still influenced from the other language (and is own dialect) later it is translated better. Perhaps: it is easier as group effort? alain; sentence 5: is it for the bookmarks backup extension or something that saves selected files from

thx for feedback. please report the 2 discerpancies - especially with old windows 95/ME devs need that. btw. der fehler bei doppelclick = derselbe nur 2X, wenn einer ist. Du kannst durch zwischen-installation von irgendwas e.g. FF der IE mögl. registry fehler wegdrücken. mfG aus Hannover guenter

I use yahoo mail. Telling Yahoo that my browser is a firefox with the same GRE helps. plus what neolem suggests. That is done in: edit > preferences > privacy. The thing is that all Mozilla GRE browsers react more or less the same. AFAIK neolems idee helps but somtimes You have to tell pages that You use Mozilla GRE version ! without telling them what browser ;-) My good l: Mozill

I looked with de-AT (German) // totally different words again :-) I do not use the managing item that You mention often but AFAIK the three items You describe are active only when You have chosen to activate an extra visible toolbar via Advanced Preferences ( the setting makes visible an extra bookmarks toolbar - Barre des Signets? - and I do not use that extra bar). When I do not use the extr

Right clicking Back/Forward also has a drop down menu with 1.02de-AT default settings. Can this be possibly a mouse problem? I have a Logitech optical 2 button 1 wheel mouse.

It is a windows registry problem. A broken registry key? It was a common question in the time when win98 was much used. As far as I remember the easiest solution was to install another browser ;-) Try install SeaMonkey or IE and set it to default browser. ( I know You use Firefox and K-Meleon the old attemp was based on installing a totally differnt browser so that the registry key was f

You can view stream information in an editor as soon as it is offered for download. Then it gives You e. g. an URL and the mimetype info (which tells You location and codec). Yes as You assumed. That they work in Firefox means that You have the right codex! I do not use real player but have activated on board sound chip to play, now. My Media/Trident player shows that the site/player is

Bearbeiten Einstellungen - Skin - there You find a menue where You can change Skins. The selected skin will become active after restarting k-meleon. Newly downloaded skins are unpacked in skins folder first - and You make sure they have the same folder structure as the ones there - that is because not all skin makers pack them the same way. Hope this helps.

@Wladimir Palant, thx, had not found that yet, I confirm that all went automatic for 1.1 after I unpacked to the right place. Great job! p. s. AFAIK only chrome.dll & xpt are based on Firefox paradigm.

This is for 1.02. You distribute them like in the layout. It will place: chrome/adblockplus.jar components/nsAdblockPlus.js components/nsAdblockPlus.xpt defaults/pref/adblockplus.js defaults/pref/adblockplus_extra.js kplugins/adblockplus.dll It will register nsAdblockPlus.xpt automativcally. It did also register adblockplus.jar in the rdf file but not in the installed-chrome.txt. If

I can only support JujuLand; The new chrome system has more advantages than disadvantages. At this time it is needed for easier localization. The idea for embed chrome comes from embed project. K-Meleon is an embed application - so all K-Meleon untill 0.82 used embed.jar. Updating is easy enough: unzipp ALL the individual jars into a folder so that You have content, locale, skin folder visible

No, most are not GNU. AFAIK it is a free to use plugin modell. But You can use it for anything even for things that need a licence. Commercial browser versions have licence to ship Real, Quicktime ... plugin and player, Java and runtime (JVM). It is also a matter of download size. You would not have the assorted lot - but maybe the activeX plugin for the players, that is small and the sourcec

Quotesnuz2 I think that servers can specify when a cache entry expires in the header they return ( and perhaps yours does not want to be bugged that often ) I have heard that too - AFAIK there is a FFox extension that poisons cache against this. It seemed to work with K-Meleon (at least console2 threw no errors ). But can that be done/used selectively for a site in case a feed tries it? Tr

When unigoombah can verify that Netscape now has foul downloads I sanitize my old posts. But he cannot use foul words. If he feels that I am wrong he can appeal to other spam Admins.

Dorian means something else. It is not incompatible - but there will be slight errors/differences. Examples: 1.) Look into console2 for chrome errors. 2.) Look for a help buttom in a chrome window and click it, do 1.) again 3.) use master pass, and see if it works, do 1.) again 4.) Write javascript: into URL: and press enter, do 1.) again. 5.) Did 4.) have the same layout as wi

Yes now. But if You look at older GRE the file came recently - I & others fell... for it = making updates without noticing it. I mentioned it fairly early in this thread. It will we with us for some future. i do not see problem and reason for long threads - we know now.

Try to install (Intente instalar?) Additional codecs. IMHO You could lack a codec. Thanks for reading my post.

Thank You for the 0.5 update. p. s. The circles are AFAIK splif's logo. He made the logo and layouts that are still used. You still find broken links to his old place on splif.aegis-corp.org on some pages. I think it is the central logo at his new place that lests You see what it is.

Relevance: Post New Micro RSS Reader that can be downloaded from snuz2's web page. The attached file contains manifest and kmm and was posted as workaround for "smiley in macro problem" that was mentioned in the thread. The files attached are intended to make use with newest k-meleon 1.1 possible. The files microrss.kmm goes to macros folder microrss.manifest goes t

You were pure aggression to me. I answer always as good as I could. I charge no fee - and I do not think I was much wrong much (if at all); but it is possible that I am wrong much because I (like any human) can be wrong :-( BTW. I garatee that I tested it! Before You even posted this March 17, 2007 21:23:59. I even deleted my download from 2005 just in case ppl at Netscape had changed their habits; No they did not. Their software did not install any rubbish, malware or advertisement here. I used NSSetup-Full.exe for my test. Netscape only tried to insist that I enlist for a free ID of theirs. It is t

No, it is not the only way to install a Netscape 4.7 - 8.X to get plugins but the easiest way to get Netscape plugins and get them configured. More info how to install Netscape plugins at Mozilla and more specialized for K-Meleon. No dea from what place You got that promotional; It has nothing to do with the normal Nescape7.2 Full installer download from the Netscape browser archives.

QuoteQuicksilver tearsHow about Newsfox localization? Locale folder does not exist. It is inside the "language" jar: lanuage = en-US.jar in beta contains language files for default extensions also. These are Console2, Mtypes and Newsfox. You would place the chrome inside a ru-RU.jar (or ru.jar You are free to name it). The resulting jar should have the same structure as the en-US
