I aggree - It should be reported as bug if several find it ( no matter whether all do) I did not find any zero byte files but we all should look after it. {There is a 1 kb file in use in Windows/Temp (XP has more than one temp location)} And it would not surprise me if the darft file mananger missjudges size :-) p. s. ppl that also use FFox/TBird or so should look whether other Geko based

hi Don, grey field means that the picture was not found = wrong name, number or non existing pic. icons are in the bmp e. g. copycold.bmp. 1.) Set K-meleon as default should correct that system opens all mail links with K-meleon; If it does not work like that it is specific to Your personal OS install. 2.) First: To install is no problem. The problem is some adons simply do not work. You have a fair chance with SeaMonkey extensions and some chance with FFox extensions. You have no chance if the extensions manipulate visible XUL (download statusbar), or need Firefox bookmarks manager or some other chrome that k-meleon either does not have or that competes with k-meleon's native widgets.

If You placed them there just create a new profile. You placed the bookmarls.html into the place from where k-meleon takes the files to create it new profiles. Now all new profiles will have these Firefox bookmarks.html

It will do nothing automatically. It is because k-meleon can use Firefox "bookmarks.html" (that is the name of the file that stores the bookmarks ). The prob seems to be that this is not happening often and is not reproducable. I was also affected once with no damage ( i also backup ) - but other Mozillas seem to have similar problems recently. My TBird lost 3 Profiles in 1 week. Maybe time to update GRE?

This is not the typical popup but a java script alert that reacts to an aborted visit. Switch off java script & You will get rid of the popup. Appart from that the scan is a flash animation (btw. a pic) & IMHO the page is a scam. The problem is a setting specific to You system and instalation choices. Check whether favorites plugin is activated - it is not by default. btw. K-Ninja and k-meleon pro are the same broswer as k-meleon, they merely have some different settings (and pro is compiled with a different compiler).
