urlfilter.ini is for Opera, which has no Adblock Plus like Gecko based browsers. I'm truly not an expert and don't know that K-Meleon doesn't support those domain filters. Well, Wlamidir Palant put Adblock Plus for K-Meleon 1.6 on the roadmap; fingers crossed ;-).

Duffy, all depends on a server you want download from, if it has support for resuming downloads, your download manager should supports it too. I use Orbit Downloader for years and can recommend it + extension integrating orbit download manager with k-meleon.
