QuoteSoerenBAnd I think there are ways to make mouse-only browsing being almost as efficient as when using your KBd a lot, and make it using very little space for the UI. Mouse gestures and the ease of UI customization according to my personal preferences are two of the main reasons I favor K-Meleon and Opera. Some of the most frequently gestures used with K-Meleon: left and right - forward

Watching Disrupted's Abstractc-Alpha skin (BTW, nice work Disrupted) reminded me of bitmaps alpha transparency support in K-Meleon 1.5.3. Just out of curiosity I decided to transform the bitmaps of my Klassic skin & privacy bar accordingly. That was an easy step and after a few minutes I was done for testing. Everything was just fine except a minor disfigurement: I notice

I don't know. I don't think you can. Another shortcoming compared to Google is the absence of cached items. After all you can't have everything at the same time

Quotedreager(even Opera has sold out to Google now, and that was my last hope) You can customize your search engines in Opera as well. QuotedreagerA search window in the toolbar would be nice, I will work on that. You can enter your search terms in the address bar and hit or right click the globus in order to choose the search engine. Edit: Guenter was faster Quoteslayer I'm

QuoteborderLine Is there a way to open new tabs to the right of the current tab You don't need ‘New Tab’ buttons for that. You can simply allocate a mouse gesture for this task. Edit: Sorry, my reading of your post was superficially/in a hurry and I missed the point.

@ dreager I have to agree with Doon about Google having the best search. Therefore Google - 100 Results http://www.google.com/search?num=100&q= is my favorite engine. They can store my German dynamic IP forever. My ISP already stores all my connection logs for 6 months at least and can hand them over under certain circumstances. However Scroogle might be another option to avoid Google wh

@panzer In case I got right what you are trying to do, it's an one click deal with Code-Genie: Should work with other editors as well.

The respective files (16x16, 24x24, 32x32 - ICO & BMP format) are in the ZIP file. Just playing around with some icon editors. To much free time on my hands

Quotepanzersomething is wrong when an extension that merely controls javascript elements requires an update every couple of days. it's without doubt that mr. malone has a hidden agenda. It's less hidden:

I looked sketchily to that pink skin. Though I'm by far no expert the main culprit IMO is the toolbars.cfg packed with the pink skin. You will have to rewrite it according to your main.kmm . As a guide you can look to the original toolbars.cfg in the klassic skin. Don't forget to check also the menuicons.cfg by comparing it with that of the Klassic skin. Also check the name of the

The "Firefox is trying to act as a server" warning is misleading. Ther correct warning IMO woud be: "Firefox is trying to access local port: -bla, bla, bla. Unlike servers (or trojans) which are listening on dedicated ports waiting to establish outbound/inbound connections, K-Meleon is talking to itself. Local ports on which K-Meleon is listening are not accessible from remote. I

QuoteJujuLand It's mozilla which names source file with tmp extension, and obviously, there is no syntax coloration. All the editors will have this problem ... A+ Code-Genie the editor I use doesn't care about extensions. It reads the header of the file.

@ndebord QuoteMozilla applications require a loopback connection to be available for SSL. Check your firewall settings to make sure you have not blocked incoming connections to Mozilla applications. See the Firewalls article for details on firewall configuration. source QuoteguenterK-Meleon must act as a server. Could you please elaborate :O Kann auch auf deutsch sein.

@desga2 Thanks for the link! As far as I can see the "SVG test case for this NSPR bug" doesn't imply JavaScript. @Daveski17 Did you test the 2 PoCs desga2 referred to with Opera 10.10? Opera 10.10 freezes the same way K-Meleon does.

QuotesiriaIt adds a toggle for "objects" (=plugins like flash, pdf, etc.) to the privacy menu, alongside the blocks for javascript, images, cookies etc. I'm sure it will be very handy for many people. Nevertheless Flash is a risk and IMHO there is nothing Adobe can do about. It's the way Flash gets handled by the browser. Basically everybody is at risk. Flash Origin Policy

@Johannes wünsche Since Windows Me doesn't offer a concept of different user accounts it's unsecure by design to begin with. I can't imagine a realtime monitor that will work for you with 166Mhz without slowing down your system to a crawl. Whatever those AV-plugins you speak about do, they for sure can't be the equivalent of a RTM. Read carefully what they do. If securit

JavaScript is needed because of lousy Flash. The site freezes for me as well (doesn't with Opera) for a few seconds because of an unresponsive script (doesn't with scripting disabled).

Nice I wouldn't bother about adds. If the "stuff" becomes troublesome it will be blocked :p Every K-M user should at least be able to deal with adds.
